INTRODUCTION OF SECOND SEASON
Explorace, Malaysia's most challenging reality show is in for a second season!
12 teams of two have been selected and they will get this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a race which will definitely revolutionize their lives. Explorace is Malaysia's only challenging reality series that takes contestants on an exciting journey toward the ultimate prize of RM 100,000 cash. It tests the limits of each participant's mental and physical strength as well as their relationship and trust towards each other, as they travel across various cities and towns in Malaysia and also international destinations.
The mechanics of the race is simple. Each team will be given a clue and several tasks to complete in order for one member to retrieve the Explorace Golden Key and the other to locate the Explorace Golden Box. The first team to complete the task and reach the end location will be declared the winner for that round.
There are three rounds. The first round sees 12 teams competing in 6 locations around Malaysia . With 6 teams eliminated, the remaining 6 teams move to the semi finals to compete in 3 different countries. The final round has three teams competing for the grand prize. Teams start the race at an overseas destination and end in Malaysia.
Cooperation is essential as teams work together to achieve the objectives of the race. Winning the race will require preparation, determination, communication and well-planned strategy. As the teams travel across various regions of Malaysia to complete their task, they will experience cross-culture heritage and even learn new things about themselves while having the adventure of a lifetime.
So, what's the level of difficulty for the second season? Well, who can say what it is going to be like! Opinions vary from a raised intensity to the outrageous! All we can say is - in this season, anticipate the unexpected and the utterly wacky!

Raymond: We are competitive sporting pals.
Teh Yee Chuan: He's my BOYFRIEND lololo, Nah just kidding. We are sportmates.
Why did you decide to team up for the Explorace?
Raymond: We believe (actually our motto as well!) we able to go far in the race as we possessed the necessaries to do well in the race. Physical strength we have plenty, brains we are definitely the one, competitiveness we are no fluke and about national cultures we are no pushovers either.
Teh Yee Chuan: He asked me to join. And hey, I thought since the race is physically and mentally challenging and fun, hence no harm giving it a go.
Have you ever traveled together before? If so, tell us your experience- the best and worst parts during traveling together.
Raymond: Just short destinations. Competition meets around Klang Valley. Best - we are able to perform under pressure and always believe in ourselves to achieve the greatest plus the compatibility makes us winner at the end of the day. We have great determination (especially TYC) and keen competitiveness among ourselves makes us stand out amongst the competition fraternity. Worst - we can be emotional, mental strength can go haywire at times. Most of the time, because too much expectations, we tend to rest on our laurels and disaster strikes. I must also stress on different opinion at times that makes us blunder on several occasions as well.
Teh Yee Chuan: Nope. So the best and the worst have yet to come.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Raymond: Strengths - I am very focused in whatever I do, my keenness and competitiveness and 'never give up' attitude still stands. Weaknesses - can be emotional, easily agitated & individualistic. Oh yeah, I am super impatient!
Teh Yee Chuan: Hmmm, I am always up for anything and fear of nothing. Whereas, sometimes I get quite grumpy and impatient.
What are your partner's strengths and weaknesses?
Raymond: Strengths - He is a very disciplined and determined guy, always striving the best or else mourning over not giving his very best. Very energetic and humorous at weird times(real funny).. Weaknesses - Like me, emotional & individualistic attitude that makes people hate so much.
Teh Yee Chuan: He is strong-willed and rather stable. Flip side of his is that he is afraid of reptile卋oohoooooo
What is/are the factors that drive your team to join Explorace?
Raymond: $$$ - NEVER!!! 100K is not a lot of money anyway! We just wanna have fun fun & fun. This is the race of a kind and its so special to be part of the programme but unfortunately we are only the standby team(how disappointing)匛xploring different cultures and widen our scope in different aspects are our main objective.
Teh Yee Chuan: FUN匜UN匜UN匫h did I mention RM 100,000?!!!
What is your team's mission in this race?
No mission!!! We won't be able to take part and be in the race aren't we!!? All our hopes just crashed to pieces! Maybe we take things for granted as we are confident we can easily be in the top 12 but we are so WRONG!!!

Have you ever traveled together before? If so, tell us your experience- the best and worst parts during traveling together.
Narimah: Yep. We traveled together in some groups expeditions. The best parts.. my partner was always helpful by taking others burdens (+ my burden. hehe..) and willing to do things without people asking. We really enjoyed the companionship, experiences and challenges. The worst part was when we trap in bad weather (we could all wets, slipped, injured & etc. ..but of course, that's the sweet & sour in traveling). Anyway, we both really enjoyed traveling together.
Hanif: Yes, basically for expeditions. The best was we can see new things and share the adventurous experience & challenge. But the worst experience we encountered was when 2 of our friends almost drowned during our expedition in Gunung Ledang.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Narimah: I'm hardworking, ambitious and willing to try/learn new things. I'm also a very helpful person. Unfortunately, this has caused me some damages and financial loss. uhuks..!!

Explorace - The Extreme Journey returns
Packed with visuals of applicants, their home videos, the inimitable auditions and behind the scenes peek - this introductory episode makes for interesting viewing. Also included are comments from Season 1 winners and excerpts of the forthcoming races. Teams were subjected to the auditions where they faced some dares - cycling, jungle trekking, catching live fish in the muddy padi fields, swimming, an IQ test and some socializing. Foremost in this episode is the announcement of the 12 final teams and 4 standby teams. Then came the promo recordings - turning nobodies into Explorace celebrities took the whole evening and stretched into the wee hours of the morning. The stakes are high this time as teams compete for prizes designed to explore new frontiers.
