General Info
JiroWang Dong Cheng nicknamed Da Dong, attracted the Taiwanese audiencewith his great looks, talent in acting and singing, and simply hisbubbly personality. He is currently a member of the boy band Fahrenheit,and is widely known as the male lead in the Taiwanese idol drama KO One(as Da Dong) and Xiu Yi in the live-action Taiwanese drama, Hana-Kimi.
Biography
Wangwas born August 24, 1981, in Taiwan. He graduated at Fu Shin Trade andArts College with a degree in Advertising Design. After his graduationhe dedicated his life toward the entertainment business. He was firstasked to join the entertainment business because of his good looks andsinging talent that he showed at a singing competition. BMG, the labelthat signed him, planned to package him with Jay Chou and Jordan Chanto form a boyband called 3J, but because of 9/11, BMG's stocks crashedand the 3J plan was scrapped. Wang then decided to continue his careerin the industry by working backstage, mainly in charge of fashiondesigning and other designing necessities, as well as commercialmodeling. He was approached again around 2004, when his acting careerbegan.
He speaks fluent Hokkien and Mandarin, and understandsconversational Cantonese and English.He used to play in an undergroundband named Karma as lead singer. They have performed a song (nameunknown) lyrics composed by Wang. After that, the band change the nameto Dong Cheng Wei. However, the members in the band remains thesame.Wang was the first member to join Fahrenheit. His publicizedtemperature is that of hot Summer, at 95 degrees.
Jiro's Dramas
Andof course, Jiro is known for his AWESOME, AWESOME acting skills whichhas no doubt, improved a lot. At first, Jiro was only given roles ascharacters which are not serious and are mostly humourous chracters.For example, Jin Xiu Yi in Hana Kimi(which in my opinion, makes HanaKimi a must-watch! He was soooooo ah-dorable as Jin Xiu Yi!!! No onecould've pulled it off except HIM, definitely and ohh, here's anotherspoiler, Jiro has a shower scene in Hana Kimi! Hehee~) and Ah Jin in ItStarted With a Kiss (Jiro was SO GOOD in ISWAK, his acting skills weresuperb! Trust me, you have to watch the scene where Ah Jin getsrejected by the girl he had loved for five years, Xiang Qin and preparea box of tissues! His acting was beautiful, I tell you!). And recently,in The X-Family, Jiro had to play FOUR extremely different roles andYET, he still managed to pull it off and still look incredibly hawtwhile doing so! Therefore, people who call Jiro a pretty boy who can'tact to save his life should just eat their words and get a life!

Jiroand Danson have many similarities, including the fact that both camefrom single parent families, common dream is to let their mothers leadhappier lifestyles,and even more surprisingly, both of them who havehigh incomes do not own a single credit card!
The reason why they did not have any credit cards was because they did not want to become spendthrifty.
Jiroand Danson collaborated to film GTV's new idol drama, <RollingLove> aka <Fan Gun Ba, Dan Chao Fan!>, and it is already the4th time both have collaborated. Their friendship is very good but inthe drama, they are love rivals involved in a love triangle with GenieZhuo. In the drama, their characters even felt jealous with each otherand had a lot of fights because of Genie.
However, in real life,both discovered that their backgrounds are very similiar, not only bothare Virgos(horoscope), Jiro's father passed away due to illness when hewas in High School and Danson's father passed away when he was inSecondary School. Both of them were raised single-handedly by theirmothers and they worked part-time when they were still in school tosupport the family.
Their biggest dream is to purchase a houseto allow their mothers to enjoy life in comfort and happiness, hencethey were very thrifty. Taking out their wallets, they realised thatthey had the same edition of BV(brand) wallets, and both are given byfriends. Even more coincidential was that they had absolutely no creditcard at all! Whenever they went overseas and needed to use creditcards, they will request for their managers to lend them for the timebeing. The reason? Jiro is afraid to rely too much on his money andDanson is afraid that he will lose control and spend all his money.
Danson spends only 10 thousand dollars per month
Infact, both Jiro and Danson have high incomes this year, and it wasconsidered as a fruitful year for both of them. Jiro earned more than$10 million(exact figure $12.5million), and yet he spends only 5000dollars per month; Danson earned $2.4million and spends only 10thousand dollars per month.The leftover money are given to theirmothers, and their mode of transport are second-hand motorbikes. Theonly difference is that Jiro had rode on the motorbike for 8 yearswhereas Danson bought his motorbike from his brother-in-law for about$1 million dollars.

14.12.2007 Jiro & Danson fighting w/ jealousy over Genie
GTVidol drama "Rolling Love / 加油！蛋炒飯 (Jia You! Dan Chao Fan / Go! FriedRice)" yesterday was in Shimen ocean side filming outside scene, in thedrama Jiro and Danson are fighting with jealousy over Genie. In reallife, Da Dong (Jiro) has experienced the pain of a two timingrelationship, he said back in the school days, once dated a girlfriendfor 3 years, but she went off with one of his good friends.
Jirosaid, after that he and the girlfriend had a deep conversation, andrealized the girlfriend actually love him the most, and didn'tunderstand why he could give up his feelings for a good friend, hesaid: "the me back then was that type of person that would do that fora friend, but now I won't be that silly!"
In the dramaJiro is a simple character inheriting his father's skill of egg stirfried rice chef, Danson is from a wealthy family which is also the headchef of the restaurant, in the drama the 2 both likes song writersinger Genie, because of jealousy a fight is put up, and also breakingplates and pulling clothes.
Personally though, the twoare both from single family homes, the route entering the industry isalso similar, there very compatible together, behind the camera theyeven clasp hands together, Genie laughs saying: "You guys are filmingnot liking each other, how come it's now portraying broke back? What'swith that?"
Earlier Danson and Genie filmed an eloping scene,not only making Genie fall to the ground, the whole head hit theground, even though it wasn't that bad, but Genie's spirit seems to nothave fully recoverd yet, she says, since returning from Malaysia forwork still haven't gone for check-up, the head still feels dizzy.
