How to extract audio from video file?

hi
I have video file(concert) but I want to get only the audio and change to mp3? how to do this?

use video editor like adobe premier ..
just extract the sound from here.. save as wave and then convert to mp3
or u can use xilisoft video converter... and direct convert from avi to mp3 |

what kind of media file? avi? mpeg? (u mean, the media file contains both video and audio?)
to extract only the audio stream from media file, u can use any video converter. In my case,, I use video converter that came with JetAudio Plus. But intead of converting both audio/video stream, I only convert audio stream to extract it from the media file. Some media file for example, avi uses MP3 encoded audio stream stream so you can extract it directly without conversion (but in my case, I'm still using the same software) |
