ekceli..sejak avanza keluar..aku tak pernah tgk la owner avanza wat extreme modified kat avanza kat jalan2 sekitar kolumpu mahupun m;sia....maybe owner avanza just beli utk famili car only..

agak2 kalo wallet tu kembung memanjang... better go for conti car... grand scenic tu best gak... tapi kalo value for money.. Innova la kot... baru jap tadi call member kat toyota HQ.. mmg dia kata production tak byk cam avanza, tapi buat masa ni takde la waiting sampai 12 bln... |

This new MPV is one of three models which UMW Toyota Motor will launch this year; the first was the Hilux (actually, they count it as two models because they treat the single cab and double cab variants as separate models) and now comes the Innova while the third one, to come later in the year, will be the Fortuner SUV.
All three models look different but are the products of the Innovative/International Multipurpose Vehicles (IMV) project which is a major industrial undertaking by Toyota that spans the globe. The IMV models have been conceived to compete in market conditions which are a lot more competitive today, and designed to be especially suitable in developing countries. The Innova, like the new Hilux, takes build quality to a new level and while there are some elements shared with the Hilux, the Innova抯 cabin also has its own fresh new design. It has a luxurious ambience, thanks to standard equipment such as the Optitron meters on the instrument panel, a Multi-Info Display, gate-type shift lever (automatic transmission only), wood trim and also a chrome package on the outside.
The Optitron meters were originally developed for Lexus models and are now available in a number of Toyota models. They differ from conventional meters by being brighter (but not glaring) to provide clarity in all lighting conditions, particularly when ambient lighting is strong.
The Multi-Info Display is situated at the top of the centre console area of the dashboard. Far from being a gimmick, this display provides the driver with seven different types of information which can be selected at the touch of a button. The information provided is average fuel consumption; real-time fuel consumption; average speed on a journey; the length of time that the engine has been running; the range available on the amount of fuel in the tank; the direction the vehicle is headed in (compass); and the temperature outside the vehicle.
Optitron meters, brighter than conventional meters, were originally developed for Lexus models.

Being an MPV, there抯 lots of space inside to offer comfort and convenience to each occupant. The driver, in particular, can have an ideal seating position for fatigue-free motoring, thanks to the tilt-adjustable steering wheel. Both short as well as tall drivers will appreciate the seat height adjuster too.
The dual air conditioner (with controls at the front and over the 2nd row) ensures that all occupants receiving cool air for enhanced comfort, whatever the outside temperature. The high-performance system has been specially developed and tested in local conditions for optimum cooling performance as well as proper flow of air around the cabin all the way to the last row. When not required, passengers in the second row can switch off the air-conditioning.
With the Innova 2.0G. an automatic air-conditioning system (similar to that found on more expensive models) is standard. With this system, the driver can select the desired temperature and the system will automatically ensure that cool air is efficiently distributed around the cabin to maintain the temperature. In instances where the cabin may have become hot after the vehicle has been parked in the sun, the system will increase the fan speed to clear the warm air as quickly as possible.
Other standard comfort/convenience features include power windows and power door locks, the former having jam protection to avoid causing injury to an occupant抯 hand which may be caught by the rising glass. The driver抯 door window also has a one-touch up/down operation for extra convenience.
