Aku ada satu soalan..aku ada PC Pentium 11 kat rumah..lama tak guna...agak2 kalau nak install linux OS boleh support ker??aku baru jer nak try belajar pakai Linux nie...any version Linux yang korang boleh recommend??

kalau pentium 2 ni mmg lame giler kalau install linux mmg bole tapi yg jenis text console jer ;ler kalau ko GUI carik linux cap CRUNCHBANG based ubuntu tapi pakai openbox DE lebih ringan make sure ram kurang2 128

Aku ade satu pertanyaan. Camner nk split file zip atau rar dalam Ubuntu? Sebab unrar kan aku tau la..

sudo apt-get install 7zip unrar

make sure repositories universe ko enable

Masa aku dok surf tadi, aku terjumpe info ni.

First of all you will have to install rar program. Do this by typing in terminal:
sudo apt-get install rar
To compress file(s) to split rar archive navigate to the folder where your files are located. Now type:
rar a -m5 -v2M myarchive mybook.pdf mysong.mp3 mymovie.avi
Let me explain what this command do:
rar - starts the program
a - tells program to add files to archive
-m5 - determine the compression level (0-store...3-default...5-maximal)
-v2M - determine the size of each file in split archive, in this example you get files with size 2MB (if you wanted files of 512kB size you would write -v512k)
myarchive - name of the archive you are creating
mybook.pdf mysong.mp3 mymovie.avi - name of the files you wish to add to the archive, of course you can put only one file in it
To uncompress the archive type:
rar x myarchive.part1.rar
Or right click on file myarchive.part1.rar and choose Extract Here.

Ada sapa2 penah try CNR package installer tak??Apa kelebihan dia compared to Adept/Synaptic package manager dlm K/Ubuntu??Aku tengok macam lebih kurang ja software2 yg ada dlm tue.Otai2 diharap dapat memberi penerangan.

meha baru download xubuntu tapi nak tanya sikit

camna nak tahu kalau wifi usb adapter kita suitable dengan linux
sebab meha pakai Jenama CNET dan takde support international cuma local support je

erm meha install guna wubi haritu dan keluar error 15:file not found

macammana nak kerat partition kat partition yang dah ada isinya?Meha ada satu lagi partition yang ada byk kosong dan meha nak dividekan dia kepada dua

rasanya ada byk cara... tp 2 cara yg aku guna utk create partition skg ni

1. live cd Gparted

LINK

alternative :: Gparted live USB - LINK --->tak penah try live USB

mudah je nak ubah partition... just set kan berapa space yg nak bagi utk linux (ext3) dan linux swap

5GB utk ext3 dan linux swap ikut RAM pc

2. dlm live cd distro - masa nak install...

ada partitioning tool, cara lebih kurang sama ngan gparted
