Bea and Jake, playing it safe?

Jake Cuenca and Bea Alonzo continue to play it safe by refusing to comment on the alleged relationship that they have.

The Buzz episode yesterday (July 6) aired separate interviews of Bea and Jake during the recently concluded Star Magic Ball, which they both attended. The two stars avoided reacting to rumors that they are already an item, especially Bea, who said 揫i]Tama na, tigilan na natin yon.擺/size]

Jake, on the other hand, simply explained the situation that they are in. 揫i]Ayoko namang masyadong bigyan kulay yon. Ayoko naman magsyadong mag-draw into that. Ayoko naman pong magbigay ng problema kahit kanino.擺/size]

Although the two have avoided being seen together during the ball, they have been spotted together in a showbiz party and in a restaurant together,fuelling suspicion that there is something going on between them.

Meanwhile, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea抯 former onscreen partner also revealed in one of his interviews that Bea had a crush on Jake. Lloydie said that when they were still doing Maging Sino Ka Man, Bea would comment on how handsome Jake was when they caught the actor抯 teleserye Palos on TV during breaks.

Roxanne Guinoo,Jake抯 previous girlfriend, was also asked to comment on the issue. Theactress only commented that whatever romantic involvement Bea and Jakeare having, she has no say about it. 揫i]Basta out na ko dun sa picture. Happy naman ako, di naman ako magpapaka-selfish,

because it's gonna be her first time to act comedy and her past soaps.. we usually see her glamorous & beautiful. Bea welcomes the change.. like any actress should do, whose not afraid seeing herself ugly.

Jake Cuenca is out of I Love Betty La Fea

Jake Cuenca was never considered to play Armando in I Love Betty La Fea, says an ABS-CBN.com source.The reason why his name cropped up among the contenders was because of some polls by different fan groups on who should have the coveted role. Plus, the fact that Jake and Bea are reportedly dating has put thecouple under close scrutiny.

But even if he didn抰 land the role of Armando, Jake will definitely busy with the different projects he has lined up with ABS-CBN. He will soonbe starting his first project with Star Cinema with Shaina Magdayao and Maja Salvador as his co-stars. For the month of August, he抣l be busy with overseas shows with fellow Coverboys Rafael Rosell, Jon Avila, and Victor Basa.

As to who will be playing Armando, ABS-CBN is now preparing a big announcement soon. Other members of the cast were already introduced in music video aired on ABS-CBN, like Ai-Ai de las Alas, Ruffa Gutierrez, Ronaldo Valdez, Sam Concepcion, Meryl Soriano, Sheryn Regis, Joem Bascon, Lloyd Zaragoza, Marvin Yap, CJ Jaravata, and Vhong Navarro.
