The popular live-action drama series “LIAR GAME” is getting another theatrical film, it has been revealed. Matsuda Shota (26) will reprise his role as the brilliant swindler Akiyama Shinichi. Although Toda Erika (23) was the star of the drama series and the previous movie, Tabe Mikako (22) will be playing the heroine of the new film.
Based on a manga by Kaitani Shinobu, the “LIAR GAME” drama series has had two seasons in 2007 and 2009. A theatrical movie was released in March 2010.
The new movie will retain the same basic concept of the series, but the lead character Kanzaki Nao (played by Toda) is being replaced with another character named Shinomiya Yu (Tabe) who does not appear in the original manga. Like Kanzaki, Shinomiya is an innocent college student who gets involved in a high-stakes game of deception. However, unlike Kanzaki, Shinomiya is described as a serious honor student type.
This time, the story is set on a deserted island where 20 players are competing for 2 billion yen in a variation of “musical chairs.” Although the previous movie seemed like the end of the Liar Game, the organization behind the game revives it with the goal of getting revenge against Akiyama, using Shinomiya to lure him back into the game.
Matsuyama Hiroaki will direct again. Filming starts on October 10, and theatrical release is scheduled for March 3, 2012.

Huhu baru je habis tengok semua instalment Liar Game drama nih (kecuali yg special x-Yokoya) bbrp hari lepas, punyala gigih sbb tau pelakon fav aku si Makiko Esumi ada dlm yg Reborn nih, rupa2nya haha.. Dia cuma bercakap dlm 2,3 baris je, lol.. Gaya lakonan pun mcm tak power je, hehe..
Apepun, Liar Game mmg antara drama terbaik, sgt2 intense, brilliant, sgt susah nak agak apa yg akan berlaku, lakonan pun bagus2, terutama watak2 utama.. Masa tengok Reborn, memang agak terasa kehilangan Toda Erika.. Sampai sekarang rasa pelik sbb drama ni tak penah menang apa2 anugerah, kecuali yg award Nikkan apa ntah, Erika menang pelakon terbaik, tp tupun mgkin sbb anugerah lebih kpd populariti skt.. hmmm..

Yg ni aku rasa kureng skt, ep2 awal dah ok, part yg mak dia meninggal tu, aku terfikir, laaa... apasal buat mak dia terjun bangunan gak, mcm recycle cite mak Akiyama plak.. -_-

kalo sapa2 layan THE GENIUS gameshow Korea tu, boleh agak show ni mcm amek inspirasi dr citer ni game2 diorg mmg ada sikit persamaan..
cuma yg bezanya peserta yg kalah tak payah byr hutang

Kalau aku, aku dah malas nak layan benda2 Korea, copycat je memanjang.. Banyak lg kalau aku nak kutuk pun, tp biarlah, aku malas nak jd negatif.. 
Apepun setahu aku Taiwan ada buat remake citer ni kan, boleh jd sebest drama ni ke tak? Aku sgt2 suka PSYCHOLOGY game mcm ni, dr segi tersurat pun dah brilliant, apatah lg kalau fahami bahagian tersiratnya, dr segi psikologi.. |

hahahah sokong2!! Banyak ke Taiwan remake J-drama/anime/manga ni sbnrnya? Aku cuma tahu Hana Yori Dango jah.. Aku tak brp ambik tau sgt psl remake2 ni.. Kdg2 je "ter"jumpa dlm Google..

Eeehh betul ke? Aku ni yg sbnrnya Nodame drama tak tgk lg hehe.. Tp setau aku kalau Korea remake biasanya tak best.. Tupun kwn bgtau..
Tp pelik mcmmana Jepun remake movie Korea yg jd drama apa tu namanya My Boss, My Hero tu jd lebih best dr yg asal plak?
