Three-dimensional models are essential if you're in the design field. Google SketchUp gives you the ability to easily create your own 3D models. With an easy-to-use interface and a wide swath of Help features, it's the perfect tool for beginner and intermediate designers alike.
To begin, Google SketchUp puts all of the help options in plain sight, which include video tutorials, tips and tricks, a blog, and a help center. It asks you to select a template from a long list that includes templates for architectural design, woodworking, Google Earth modeling, and basic plans. We started simple with the Beginning Training Template - Inches. The user interface is fairly basic in design, which is a good thing as some of these types of programs can be quite overwhelming. A toolbar at the top of the window includes the familiar menu options: Files, Edit, and View. There are also menu options to manage the Camera and Tools commands. A toolbox resides below with tools for creating and editing shapes, lines, and even adding building using Google Earth (you have to install the plug-in first). A helpful Instructor guided us through the setup process by creating simple lines going through each of the tools. In no time, we were creating shapes and designs, albeit very basic ones. The Tape Measure Tool let us measure our shapes, and the Eraser tool removed our mistakes.
Now, we may not be well versed in 3D design, but Google SketchUp proved simple enough for non-designers to jump right in and immediately create designs. We can't think of a better testament to its ease of use. Google SketchUp installs desktop icons without permission, but it uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program for all people.

dlm bahasa mudah. sketchup ni utk saper2 yg ingin buat model 3D samada rumah, bangunan, peralatan mekanikal atau elektrikal, struktur bangunan, civil, hiasan dalaman, landskap dsb yg kebiasaan utk presentation kepada klien. di luar sane byk disediakan tutorial samada dlm utube kebiasaan taip sketchup for dummies, pastu leh download mana2 website yg sediakan pdf tutorial. namun begitu amat jelas dan cepat sekiranya kita belaja secara formal bersama tutor. kalau x mampu nak masuk kelas, blh lah cari kawan2 sekitart dengan anda. tapi dengan syarat yg dibuat dgn kawan itu. sekiranya tidak mengambil sebarang bayaran. pastikan anda juga explore sendiri. cuma sekadar bertanya dgn kawan itu bg utk sesuatu yg sukar anda nk buat serta nak confirm step anda....sketchup is for everyone...

hari tu dah try download sketchup software ni.. ambik masa 2 - 3 hari nak belajar   user interface cantik dan boleh draw banyak objek.. kalau nak ikutkan pada user yang tiada experience CAD atau architecture.. boleh guna google sketchup ni.. tapi memang bagus sebab dia simple instruction..
kalau nak beza dengan autocad macam susah sikit..

sketchup ni kaedah basicnya ialah "tolak" dan "tarik".. mungkin latarbelakang aku buat 3D guna AutoCAD, jadi xde masalah aku nak memahami sketchup.. dulu aku amik masa 3 hari nak paham sketchup ni.. Selalunya aku mempelajari sesuatu aplikasi untuk buat 3d, aku suka amik satu contoh bentuk rumah yg hendak aku bangunkan, jika ada masalah aku rujuk pada pencarian google atau di youtube.. senang cakap kalau nak mahir sesuatu aplikasi, kena belajar sambil berkerja..

kebiasaan yg nk belaja sketchup ni utk buat model rumah/bangunan ke dgn mudah. mmg software paling mudah utk bikin itu semua. photoshop kebiasaan last touch jikalau seseorang tu menggunakan rendering . jadi perlukan juga photoshop spt mana memerlukan autocad.

sumber yg paling senang nk belaja...utube..selain tu refer pdf...xpi keduanya akan last confirm dgn kawan2 or tutor..bg penjelasan yg baik.
