[size=+1]I wanted to chat with you about the opportunity to interview the two-time Academy Award® nominated composer, Alan Silvestri, on his recent work on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack from DreamWorks Animation's,The Croods.The soundtrack will be released on March 19th via Relativity Music Group.
Silvestri has received two Academy Award® nominations, as well as two Golden Globe nominations, for Best Original Score for Forrest Gump and one for Best Original Song for "Believe," performed by Josh Groban on The Polar Express soundtrack. He has also received four Grammy Award nominations, winning two awards - Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media for "Believe," which Groban performed during the 2005 Grammy Awards, and Best Instrumental Composition for "Cast Away End Credits" from Cast Away in 2002.
Silvestri composted the entire soundtrack for The Croods, which includes "Smash and Grab," and a sample of "Tusk" performed with the USC Trojan Marching Band, in addition to producing the original track,"Shine Your Way," performed by Owl City and Yuna, which premiered this week on Idolator.
