Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung cast in new drama 'Cunning Single Lady' January 7, 2014 @ 5:21 pm
On January 7, a rep from MBC's new Wednesday and Thursday drama 'Cunning Single Lady' revealed that the male lead, Cha Jung Woo, will be played by actor Joo Sang Wook while the female lead, Na Ae Ra, will be played by actress Lee Min Jung.
'Cunning Single Lady' will be a romance comedy centering on what unfolds when a former husband and wife meet each other once again after their divorce.
Joo Sang Wook's character Cha Jung Woo is a passionate IT prodigy while Lee Min Jung's character Na Ae Ra put more effort into her looks than her studies and ended up marrying Cha Jung Woo. However, after their divorce, she went through a difficult life, which is why, when she reencounters her now wealthy husband, she decides to seduce him again.
The production team said, "We offered the role to Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung on the belief that they synchronized 100% with their characters, Cha Jung Woo and Na Ae Ra; they ultimately accepted the roles."
The drama will air after 'Miss Korea'!

Infinite’s L Joins Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung in Drama “Cunning Single Lady”
Infinite member L joins Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung in MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Cunning Single Lady.” This is his return to the small screen after last year’s hit “Master’s Sun,” playing So Ji Sub’s younger counterpart.
In “Cunning Single Lady,” Joo Sang Wook plays male lead, “sexy and single” Cha Jung Woo, while Lee Min Jung will play female lead Na Ae Ra, the afore-mentioned “cunning single lady.” L will take on the role of Cha Jung Woo’s secretary, Gil. Secretary Gil was once a PC-bang part-timer who has stayed loyal to Cha Jung Woo since the days before he became a chaebol.
The drama is a romantic comedy, in which a divorced man and his former wife meet once more and learn the meaning of true love, true partnership and real marriage. Na Ae Ra is the single-again cunning lady, who decides to seduce her ex-husband, now a rich chaebol, while Cha Jung Woo is the now-successful ex-husband who wants revenge against her. The drama promises to be a delightful watch, as it chronicles the maturation process and eventual reconciliation of these two ex-lovers.
“Cunning Single Lady” will be directed by Go Dong Sun (“Me Ri, Dae Gu’s Attack and Defense Battle,” “Queen of Housewives“), while the script will be in the hands of writers Choi Soo Young and Lee Ha Na. “Cunning Single Lady” will follow after currently airing “Miss Korea.”

INFINITE's L expresses his thoughts on joining MBC drama 'Cunning Single Lady'
INFINITE's L, who has been confirmed for new MBC drama 'Cunning Single Lady', expressed his thoughts on expanding his idol-turned actor image as he takes on his next project.
'Cunning Single Lady' is a romantic comedy drama about a man called Cha Jung Woo (played by Joo Sang Wook) who becomes a chaebol after getting divorced and his ex-wife who tries to win him back. L will play the role of Cha Jung Woo's assistant who offers Cha Jung Woo much advice and friendship.
L shared, "It is an honor for me to work with Joo Sang Wook sunbaenim and other awesome actor sunbaenims for 'Cunning Single Lady'... Through this production, I will do my best to grow to be a more solid actor."
The production company also remarked, "L will play the role of assistant Gil who throws frank remarks at the CEO played by Joo Sang Wook... Please look forward to L's detailed emotional acting as well as his comic acting."

[by Chloe Yun] L of K-Pop boy band ‘Infinite’ comes back to small screen with MBC’s upcoming TV series, ‘Wicked Woman.’
‘Wicked Woman (working title),’starring Joo Sang Wook, Lee Min Jung, L, Seo Gang Joon, and Kim Gyuri, depicts a love story of a divorced couple who happens to meet again and starts falling for each other again.
L has been cast as ‘Chauffeur Kil,’ Joo Sang Wook’s personal assistant slash true friend. ‘Chauffeur Kil’ has his own mental world and unique personality that sometimes annoys his boss but comforts him at the important moment.
L has proved his excellent acting skill as appearing in various dramas such as ‘Shut Up Flower Boy Band,’ ‘What Is Mom?’ and ‘Master’s Sun,’ rising as a true actor. He is expected to show 180 degree transformation with his new role ‘Chauffeur Kil.’
During the interview, L said, “I’m so honored to work with cool cast members such as Joo Sang Wook. Through this drama, I will show improvement as an actor. Please look forward to it. Thank you.

Kim Gyoo-ri-I confirms to star in "Cunning Single Lady"
Actress Kim Gyoo-ri-I is starring in the new MBC drama "Cunning Single Lady".
She stars as Gook Yeo-jin, the daughter of Chairman Gook (Lee Jeong-gil) of D&T Soft Ventures where Cha Jeong-woo (Joo Sang-wook) is president of.
Gook Yeo-jin has outstanding insight with charisma that dominates her opponent and leadership just like her father. She is the heiress of Chairman Gook and does her best in her work. She falls for Cha Jeong-woo who has warmth that embraces people. She forms a rivalry with Na Ae-ra (Lee Min-jeong) who tries to take back Cha Jeong-woo, her ex-husband since he's succeeded after their divorce.
Kim Gyoo-ri-I says she's happy to have landed in such a good role and that she will work her best to present laughter and relation to the viewers.
Apparently, she's perfect for the role of Gook Yeo-jin who looks strong on the outside but is actually very complicated on the inside.
"Cunning Single Lady" is a romantic comedy about an ex-married couple reunite and delivers the meaning of love, companion and marriage. To be aired in February after "Miss Korea".

time dia menang best new actress di kedua-dua daejong & blue dragon, rmi berpusu2 amik dia berlakon drama...
mcm kejayaan yg sama MCW dpt taun 2011, tp moon chae won ade drama princess man sbg sokongan...
mungkin dia silap pilih drama kot...
