Is there something romantic going on between Chris Evans and Lily Collins?

The 33-year-old Captain America and The Avengers star and the 26-year-old Mirror Mirror actress, daughter of rocker Phil Collins, were seen having dinner together at a high-end Italian restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday. The two had first sparked romance rumors a week ago. They have not commented about the nature of their relationship.

The two dined solo and sat at a table on the patio. Evans drank a beer and seemed more talkative during their meal, a eyewitness told E! News, adding that both appeared to be flirting.

"It for sure seemed like they were on a date," the eyewitness added.

Evans' most high-profile public relationship was with Minka Kelly. He and the Friday Night Lights star dated on and off from 2007 to 2013. Lily was previously linked to heartthrob Zac Efron and while the two were pictured appearing cozy together, they never confirmed a relationship.

Evans and Collins have never worked together. However, they did both attend Vanity Fair's 2015 post-Oscars party. It is unclear if they met there.

If they are dating, perhaps we will we see Collins walk the red carpet with Evans soon: The actor is promoting his newest film, The Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie, in which he reprises his role as Captain America, hits theaters on May 1, in less than six weeks.

She was thought to be dating American star Chris Evans, but actress Lily Collins sparked rumours of a romantic reconciliation with someone a little closer to home on Tuesday.

Taking to Instagram, the 26-year-old daughter of musician Phil Collins posted four snaps linked with a series of poetic messages that strongly hint at a reunion with her former boyfriend, Harry Potter star Jamie Campbell-Bower.

In the first two, originally posted on Who Say before emerging on the picture messaging service, she captions images of a tattooed hand strumming guitar strings with the words: ‘Some things strike like a chord so strong/That they leave a constant melody playing in your head..’

The meaningful messages appear to hint at a rekindled romance with Jamie, who is currently on the West End stage as Joe in a theatrical adaptation of 2002 film Bend It Like Beckham.

Lily later posted a further snap of Jamie with hands raised to the sky outside the Phoenix Theatre – where the play will officially launch on June 24.

The low-key actress was thought to be dating hunky Captain America star Chris, 33, currently on the promotional trail for new Marvel epic Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

She originally dated Jamie dated for a year before ending their relationship in 2013 while they were in the midst of a promotional tour for The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bone.

At the time a source told Us Weekly: 'They've been really good about doing the press tour together for their movie. They were able to stay friendly.'


Meanwhile, Lily recently became an ambassador of Bystander Revolution to help in the fight against bullying, and was in Seattle on Thursday at an event to celebrate 15,000 students eager to make a positive impact in the world.

'Bystander Revolution's mission and the work they've done over the past year is so inspiring and close to my heart,' Lily, who gave a speech and led We Day Seattle's segment on Social Empowerment.

'Through open communication, inclusion, and kindness we all have the ability to change the culture and stop bullying from being the norm.

'I'm so excited to spread Bystander Revolution's message at We Day about how the smallest simplest acts can have the biggest, most memorable impact.'
