AS Roma moves closer to AC Milan in Italian league

ROME (AP) -- AS Roma beat Empoli 3-0 Sunday to move within six points of Italian league leader AC Milan heading into their showdown next weekend.
Milan (23-1-7, 76 points) tied host Udinese 0-0.
Second-place Roma (21-3-7, 70 points) got goals from captain Francesco Totti in the 41st minute on a header and late on a lob.
Norway's John Crew scored Roma's second goal in the 65th, just minutes before he was ejected for exchanging shoves with a defender.
The game was played at Palermo, Sicily, because Roma was barred from playing at home for two games.
Roma will play at Milan next weekend. There are three games left in the season
