The poet is comparing how one is experiencing life to driving a car. When the car was new, she was driven fast, had many accidents, got many wrecks. The car is old now, she gets abandoned, but can still move slowly until she gets totally broken, waiting patiently to be scrapped in the junkyard
* The poet implicitly describes her grandmother, when nenek was young, able to do things on her own up to now, the poet is on front row seat, watching nenek's physical and mental health get worse and worse slowly.
Family advice: Do not put your elders into an empty nest! Appreciate them while they are still here, you can do it!

Ada sebuah buaian pada pohon besar itu

Kawan di Kuantan
Wawa namanya.....
Berdua berbuai.. laju hayunan buainya...........

Jap dok fikir, ni puisi angker ke apa... Hahah
Puisi ni kisah kerinduan pada masa silam dia di mana, dia sangat suka bermain buaian di bawah pohon besar dalam hutan yang kita boleh nampak dari tepi jalan nak menghala ke kuantan. Teman baiknya bernama wawa. Dua2 kawan ni akan saling membuai antara satu sama lain. Kawan baik. Sehingga lah satu hari bayang2 dua kawan ni semakin menghilang, terjejas dek masa dan keadaan, mungkin telah melahirkan satu rasa rindu pada penulis, lalu terhasil lah aku wawa dan kuantan... Boleh jadi jugak, wawa tu anak bunian.. Haaa mana tau, sebab penulis ja yg nampak, |
