there was a very good movie based on this book sometimes back....recommended viewing for book lovers...

i have not read the book but the movie  is actually based on a true story about the friendship of one author with a book seller.
and FYI Charing Cross Road of London is what some people call 'book street;... there are many very good book stores along this street and one of the biggest bookstores  in the world ...Foyles...is also on this street...

anybody who goes to london and if you are a book lover you MUST go to this street... tak susah... start from trafalgar square...  sambil tu lawat national art gallery   (NAG) depan  Trafalgar Sq...contain one of the best art treasures in the world!!...lepas tu jalan kaki...when i was a student near london some years back..i always go  here on weekends...

yaaa...actor dia anthony hopkins...cerita ni dah lama...if i'm not mistaken..dlm tahun 80-an...
seronok dpt masuk forum ni...coz when i ask my fren about this book....they all pandang i mcm baru turun dari bulan...or maybe dorg yg baru turun dari bulannn...ahakssss....

alahai next_door, kat sini macam-macam buku ada, kalau cerita dgn kawan pun, ramai yang blank, sebut penulis malaysia cam faisal tehrani pun ramai tak pernah dgr..

citer lama, aku dah tgk movie dia tapi buku tak baca lagi. aku terbeli dvd dia kat internet sebab tajuk dia sama ngan tempat aku duduk la ni, tapi itu charing cross road, tempat aku mmg namanya charing cross, bukan nama jalan. sebab kedua aku beli adalah sebab anthony hopkins, antara pelakon yg aku suka.

yes greenbottle, hardly any book lovers who've been 2 london can 4get charing cross road, many of my collection bought frm there, great bargain price, just a walking distance frm my place, those were d days........ i miss charing cross road.. but NOT d nearby red district tho hehe
