CCTV via internet

Aku nak install CCTV at my business premises (about 8 to 12 cameras) & nak di link pada interent so aku boleh view the place remotely.

Siapa ada nak share his/her experience or knowledge about this kind of product?

kalau linked to internet, walaupun ada username & password ada tak kemungkinan org boleh hack into it & view the cameras without my knowledge?

memang bagus nak install cctv kat business premises tu. as far as cracking is concern, whether you put password or not, it's still crackable (happened here already and they showed a documentary on how people did it). the only different is how long before a person cracks it. but, unless your business premises contain a very high value items, nobody is really going to crack your cctv except may be for the fun of it. wired cctv is better than wireless as it's much easier to crack wireless cctv. also, make sure you create a very difficult password to crack (may be contains small letters, capital letters, numbers, symbols, etc. and its length is between 10-16 characters). by the way, hacking is good and cracking is bad.

IP Camera tu apa dia.. apa bezanya? why is it better?

tapi, IP camera tu mmg mahal. boleh dikatakan 1 IP camera harganya sama dgn 1 set 4 cctv cable/wired.

nak monitor melalui internet, mmg ada software, cuma kena sediakan broadband je la.
kalau boleh, subscribe la fixed IP. kalu tidak, kena la register NO IP software... (http://www.no-ip.com)
