Pertanyaan Tentang Perletakan Jawatan

Selamat Hari Raya,

Saya ada pertanyaan tentang cara meletak jawatan.

Setahu saya, sekurangnya 1 bulan notis hendaklah diberi sebelum saya boleh meletak jawatan.

Apa yang patut saya lakukan jika majikan saya tidak menerima atau menafikan menerimaan notis daripada saya?

Adakah saya akan dikenakan tindakan sebab akhirnya saya tiada sebarang bukti bahawa notis telah pun diberi kepada majikan?

drpd segi HR practice, aku tak sure.. kena tanya org HR la about this.. but just some tips untuk next time supaya tak der masalah berbangkit pasal notis perletakan jawatan ni... make sure ada acknowlegement of receipt kat salinan notis tu (im sure awak print notis tu lebih drpd sehelai kan).  n column acknowledgement of receipt tu, make sure ada date....

isu resign with notice...

ape2 pon, 1st ko kene tgk dulu terms of employment ko tu dulu....tgk dlm letter of offer ko tu msti ade tulis psl writen notice utk resign kan...so ko kene la follow balik term tuh...x sume co mintak 1 month notice, kekadang ade co mintak 2 month notice, ade yg 2 weeks je, tu sumer vary bet. co/letter of offer....

legal implication?...kalu ko dah follow term of employment ko, ko dah follow care utk resign, dah bg sufficent notice, so xde ape yg ko nk risaukan kalu dah cukup mase ko blah dr co tuh...mcm fairy ckp, ko kene ade 1 copy acknowledgment letter utk resign td takut kalu co tu carik psl plak lepas ko dah resign kang...

make sure dlm letter of resign ko tuh, ko state yg ko bg notice of resign tu ikut clause mane dlm letter of offer td, yg ko dah xde liability utk ape2 keje co tuh lps ko resign, yg co xkan ade ape2 claim against ko lps ko resign....nie kire utk saveguard right ko la in case anything sial happen later...:nerd:

The best practice is make a copy to HR/Department head.. jgn buat satu ajer.. kalau kena mcm you cakap tu kan dah susah

rasanya baik ada chop terima kat surat resign tu at least tak delah timbul plak isu lambat terima surat ke apa....macam burn nie pun walaupun notis satu bulan tapi sebab gaji dia bayar awal so kenalah ptong gaji atakena keja gak lebih sampai hujung bulan tu...

yg ni depends la.. tgk employment contract masing2.. bukan semua org 1 bulan notice.. tapi seriously... tolongla print  n sign more than sehelai notice... 1 bg kat HR/boss.. lg 1 tu gi buat kotak untuk i acknowledge receipt.. make sure bila u submit to ur boss tu, acknowledgement copy tu dichop dan ditandatangani dan diletak tarikh..  dan simpan bebaik sebab itula tarikh dan bukti penerimaan notice..

Kena antar notis sekali lagi.  Kali ni pastikan notis diterima sah.

Kalau Milo tak datang keje sebab Milo ingat notis dah di-serve-ed kepada majikan, boleh dikenakan tindakan - Absentism.  Mungkin Milo boleh bincang dengan majikan, samada ada tolak gaji pada hari2 yang Milo tak datang tu atau kalau ada balance hari cuti, tolak cuti.

Kalau tak pun, majikan terpaksa terima "notis" verbal Milo yang akan di anggap sebagai perletakkan jawatan 24 jam.  Tapi Milo terpaksa bayar majikan in lieu untuk satu bulan tu.

Sepatutnya Milo bila antar notis perletakkan jawatan tu, Milo follow up dengan majikan.  Salah satu nye ialah perihal pembayaran gaji terakhir serta apa2 yang due to majikan ataupun Milo, macam cuti, pro-rata bonus etc.

Notis perletakkan jawatan tu, differs from one majikan to another, kekadang walaupun notis satu bulan tapi dia tengok gak, satu bulan working month atau calendar month.  Beza tu.

Sonang je hak tu.  

Working calendar month tu misalnya kita kerja 5 hari seminggu, tu orang panggil working calendar month.

Kalau calendar month tu termasuk sabtu ahad untuk bulan itu.

Depending on that particular month ie some months 4 weeks some months 5 weeks.  For calculation purposes, I use 52 weeks per 12 months.  Labour Law accepts 26 days per month as long as the figure ($$) is not lower than the normally accepted 30 days per month.

pi follow up dgn bos, the best is within 3 days, he / she has to respond. make a copy to HR dept. kalau bos tak accept, dia mesti bagi reason/s.

on your side, you are not obligated to give reason/s  on your resignation. apa pun pls refer to your employment letter/letter of offer on the terms.

slps bos bagi reason pasai apa dia tak accept, then both of you can discuss further on the next step.

tak usah takut atau gelabah kalau dia tak bagi resign....tanya je..why???
some companies boleh off set balance annual leave dgn notice duration, ada company yang tak boleh...so it depends...

Check kat dalam offer letter, berapa bulan notis you have to give, sekarang dah confirm ke? probation lagi ke? then buat resignation letter, satu kat Line Manager cc HR.

By right, HR kena issue acceptance of resignation letter, Line Manager or anyone tak boleh deny on the resignation letter. If they want you to stay, they will usually counter offer etc. Its employees right.

based on agreement, staff yg dah confirm mesti hantar 1 bln notis.

Q : i sent 1 month resignation notice effective May 13.  after deduct AL+off day my last day of working will be on May 1.
am i entitled to 13 days (May) salary??

ermm.. lysa ada gak handle kes mcm ni ari ni..kalau mcm kes u ni, u still entitle utk dpt gaji til 13th of may. cuma from 1st to 13th tu kira u masih keja tp cuti.
