how much salary can one demand for a position as a company secretary cum personal assistant in a private commercial company (sdn bhd)?

present position - asst company secretary
present salary  - rm3.3k
yrs of exp in secretarial line (company secretary) - 7 yrs
yrs of exp as PA - nil

bleh ke demand rm5.5 k? ke too high or too low?
4.5k as co sec
1k as PA

all opinions would be greatly appreciated...:tq:

Kat company tempat saya bekerja, working as a PA to ED can get RM3,000.00.
It's depend apa pangkat bos u whther CEO, ED or EC...
That's my opinion...

Tp tak pernah lak dengar Company Secretary cum PA sbb working as a Company Secretary dah cukup membebankan apalagi cum PA.. Ni Executive Secretary ke licensed Company Secretary with MAICSA?

PA to ED kat opis u tu mesti experienced and ada qualification like Private Secretary Diploma ke kan? yg teman ni, no experience n no qualification at all...CEO tu bkn nk yg terer sgt, cuma dia nk someone tu assist him n he asked i nk ke jadi sec dia..

co sec yg bz normally those yg work with plc but utk private co, x brp bz... as and when ada changes jek br bz...n dis position is a company secretary not executive secretary, 2 different things...n kalo qualified under MAICSA, the co sec is not called licensed, she's called chartered sec....yg license tu issued by ROC ...

Ooooo begitu so faham ler teman..
Tu teman pelik jarang ada Company Sec cum PA..
Keja PA ni tak berapa susah dibandingkan keja sbg Company Sec..
PA just jaga bos - arrange meeting, record important dates, kerja2 admin utk bos dsb..
(maklumat berdasarkan kwn teman sbg PA ED..)

well i have been working as PA for Country Director before. I dont have cert but i have good knowledge and experience. RM3K is the starting. Working as PA is good. Not to worry so much as if you organise your work everything will be fine. Think positive.
