takdelah secret sgt pun...keke...tp for those who want to share tips about registry editor for your systems especially for pc display...apa kata u all kasi tips di sini...

let's me start it first...HOW TO LOCK ICONS ON DESKTOP?

as usual type regedit kat run...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer ... dkt dword valuename (nosavesetting) tu (kalau takde, u can create the new name), then modify value data kepada 1

Aku pantang betul balloon tips popup tu kat taskbar aku. Ni cara nak buang binatang tu:

1. Lepas bukak regedit, navigate to the following Registry key:
2. HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\Advanced
3. Click Edit menu, point to New and click DWORD Value.
4. Rename the new value to EnableBalloonTips and tekan [ENTER].
5. The default value is 0 and biar camtu. Tutup regedit tu and restart PC.
6. No more Balloon tips!

Ni other registry tweaks yang aku guna:

The Start menu has a delay between different tiers of the menu hierarchy. To speed this, you can change the value to zero. This will allow the different tiers to appear instantly.

1. Start regedit and navigate to :
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop
3. Select MenuShowDelay from the list on the right.
4. Right on it and select Modify.
5. Change the value to 0.
6. Reboot your computer.
NOTE : If you have other accounts you might also go to:
HKEY_USERS/DEFAULT/Control Panel/Desktop

anda nak kecikkan saiz icon TANPA mengubah screen resolution...???...

as usual REGEDIT  kan  run  anda...keke...follow steps ni...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics ...

ubah valuedata bagi valuename 'Shell Icon Size'...tukar value data yg lebih kecil dari asal (32 is default)

p/s: lebih kecik nombor means lebih kecik icon anda...

Customize the System Tray

You can add your name or anything you like that consists of 8 characters or less. This will replace the AM or PM next to the system time. But you can corrupt some trial licenses of software that you may have downloaded.

1. Open RegEdit
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International
3. click "s1159" and change the value data to anything you like
4.click "s2359" and change the value data to anything you like

If you enter two different values when modifying, you can have the system tray display the two different values in the AM and PM.


Default
1.s1159-AM
2.s2359-PM

ok aku add lagi tips yg aku tau sementara tunggu lain-lain entry dari u all...

korang fedup tak kalau pc korang, org lain dok ubah setting atau yg suka tukar-tukar wallpaper tanpa mintak kebenaran dari korang...?

spt biasa...type REGEDIT kat RUN...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop...

buat new DWORD VALUE nama NoChangingWallpaper (sbb rasanya yg ada cuma default string value aje)...guna value data 1

p/s: tips ni untuk disablekan "Save as Background" bila diorang right-clik untuk tukar wallpaper... TAPI diorang masih boleh tukar wallapper kat DISPLAY PROPERTIES...tips untuk DISABLE function ni kat display property nanti esok aku tunjukkan...nak out dah ni...

Pergi ke..

System]

cari,kalau takde,klik kanan,create DWORD
Value Name: DisableRegistryTools

Pastu,klik dua kali,value letak 1

Restart PC.
nah!sekarang tak payah gunakan registry buat selama-lamanya...kecuali korang gunakan tweak software

untuk disable background kat display property pulak...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System...

buat DWORD VALUE baru name it Wallpaper dgn valuedata 1...

ok cuba gi desktop then right-click PROPERTIES -- kat DISPLAY PROPERTIES gi kat DESKTOP tab....naa...u cannot click BROWSE mahupun change BACKGROUND pix listed...

p/s: kalau nak enable system tu, u all kena DELETE DWORD VALUE tu...ia takkan enable walaupun change waluedata 0...

Copy the Code

Korang copy kod tu kat dalam notepad.. pastu save as any name with .reg extension. Pastu double-click file tu utk run, then restart/logoff PC

So, nanti taskbar korang akan jd cute mcm ni...

Aku  pulak nak share dua REG Files A.K.A  VBS Files yang aku kira penting

untuk Laptop aku , kalau selepas format, ini antara  yang aku install dulu..


1)   No Beep  = Aku tak minat kalau 0n atau 0ff PC , dengar bunyi yang annoying
     
     add this file into the registry & reboot..

     No Beeps.zip  


2)  Sort Start Menu In 0rder  =  Banyak softwares yang aku install , VBS file ni
      
      akan organize startmenu ikut turutan Abjad..more flexible..like always reboot first.

      Sort Start Menu in 0rder.

Ni bukan registry tweak, tapi still satu perkara yang aku mesti buat lepas install WinXP - sebab aku pantang habis ngan anjing kat Search window tu:

1. Bukak SEARCH (START>SEARCH)
2. Right-click kat binatang siot tu, then will kuar YOU RANG dialog.
3. Click Turn off the animated character
4. Anjing tu akan blah buat selama2nya. Yay!
