haku idakler dlm course nih...tp my fren adelah.....so xde ape yg i nk mengkomen kn psl ni..but i think it would b better if u surf the net tgk psl course ni kt U mane2...UiTM ade je course nieh....

DIPLOMA IN CULINARY ARTSThisis a three-year programme, designed to provide basic culinary skillsand knowledge of the hospitality operations. Special emphasis is givento Western cookery and pastry. The faculty is equipped with varioustypes of kitchens, restaurants and a commercial hotel on campus as itstraining facilities. Graduates of this programme have a choice ofeither to start a career or to pursue a degree programme in a relatedfield or other fields.

Career Opportunities
TheDiploma in Culinary Arts prepares students for employment at variousentry levels in fine dining restaurants, hotels, resorts, bakeries andother culinary and hospitality related business

Admission Requirements
SPMwith at least five (5) credits, including English, Mathematics, andBahasa Melayu and two (2) other subjects or an equivalent (Prioritygiven to candidates with a credit in Fine Arts and or Catering Subjects)
or
SPM with at least four (4) credits, including English, Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics and one (1) other subject
and
A Certificate in Culinary Arts (HM002) or Certificate in Hotel Operations (HM003) with a CGPA of at least 2.70
and
At least one (1) year of working experience.

Programme Structure
Theprogramme runs on a six-semester system (the curriculum is as in Table1D) and covers 106 credit points of required courses and electives.Included in the fifth semester is an 18-week internship at our very ownhotel as well as in other hotels of good rating in terms of trainingfacilities.
