HI....I dah check a fem pages back...but still tak jumpa topic ni...

I am active job seeker...tp tensionlah...bila tgk paper...most of the vacancy, require someone who can speak mandarin, or other chinese dialect or ada yg lebih direct...chinese only...malay & indian memang tak mau! kekadang qualification semua cukup utk the position tp malang nyer..i'm not chinese...

Why this matter have to appear in Malaysia? Mana boleh be unfair like this....that one of the reason banyak siswazah bumiputra IPTA kerja kilang jer... Dulu pun I rasa dah ada org bangkit kan hal ini...now, still continue.... kenapa ha?

aku ingat aku penah reply bende ni dlm one of the old posts before...
and one of the forumers kata andai kata ko rasa offended, ko bleh lodge report, saying bias in preferences...

satu lagi...
yelah, walaupun field dia marketing + sales, kena tgk apa market dia cater.
kalo company tu mmg ada direct dealing dgn company dari china, logic la ko tak dapat sbb tak ckp mandarin. aku budget kalo ko memang fluent mandarin pun, ko AKAN diterima bekerja....
ANDAI kata ko diterima bekerja lah pun (without having the ability to speak mandarin), ko mesti terkulat2 kat company tu for d first 2 weeks, pastu mintak nak berenti sbb tekanan perasaan tak paham sume org ckp.

rilek bro....cari yg sepadan dulu...polish urself. kalo betul ko geram, pegi belajo mandarin...
IF YOU CANT BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM

mm.. zep pun setuju dgn pendapat redsinner tuh...
zep skang keje ngan chinese company.. and most of our clients are chinese..
so.. even zep nyer keje sama taraf ngan member2 opis yg chinese, kebanyakan clients ni prefer member2 opis yg chinese ni utk mintak advise.
walhal bukan diorng xleh cakap dlm english pun..

so.. utk mengatasi masalah ni.. zep pun kena la amik mandarin course...
at least paham la jugak aper yg budak2 opis tu ngumpat... hehehe

You are right. Now since china opened its door to the world, more and more market are going to China. With extremely cheap labour.

Even the british are learning mandarin in primary school.

Once a textile company owner once said, IF every people in China extend their shirt just ONE inch, the company can operate for 30 years.

Instead of complainng, why not take a mandarin course?

I have many malay friends who can speak mandarin as fluent as me. No problem.

Not just mandarin. Also japanese is an added value.

People are too comfortable with everything prepared to them. If they face obstacle, they can only complain.

P.S. I`ve been to Ipoh and Penang. what suprise me is that the Indians...
Despite being minority in penang and ipoh, they catch up the language gap by learning.
the indians in penang can speak hokkien and indians in Ipoh can speak cantonese.

Complain about your self first before complain about other people.

dengar? TV kan ada....

Hendak seribu daya;

Tak nak seribu dalih.

MELAYU nie semua salah orang lain...
..kalau tanya, "Kenapa tak bertani..?
.jawabnya:" Tak ada tanah.....
so kerajaan bagi dia tanah TOL...
"Kenapa tak tanam lagi..?
" Itu tanah sementara, nanti kerajaan ambil balik.."
"Kerajaan pun bagi geran.
"Dah dapat geran, bila lagi nak tanam...?''
melayu jawab"Dah jual kat cina, cepat dapat duit"

see...neccessary tuu...aku rasa kerajaan kena bertindak tegas sikit la pada kompeni2 yg buat syarat mcm tu...aku rasa kalau candidates boleh communicate well in english,it's  should be gud enuff..mcm technical field nie...bukan semua hal kita kena berurusan dgn org cina..malah kadang2 kita lebih banyak berurusan dgn authorities cth mcm nak dpt pengesahan, kebenaran whatsoever...sedangkan aku percaya ramai org cina kat luar sana tu pun yg tak reti ckp mandarin...

Bukan larr........

Janganla cakap macam isu perkauman larr.......

Takkan saya nak suruh MCA buat benda kalau nak gaji melayu jerr??

yup... zep setuju...

actually semua benda nih depends pada apa yg company tu buat...
kalau dia banyak deal dgn chinese customer especially from china mmg la dia nk org yg fluent in mandarin.. kalau tak nanti rugi la business diorang.

mmg la ada chinese yg x tau mandarin, tp kalau diorng mintak keje yg nk bnda2 ni sumer.. sure diorang pun x dapat.. it happenned in my office now.. sbb skang opis zep tgh cari org baru.. and mmg tgh cari org yg tau mandarin sbb nk deal dgn taiwanese people..

p/s: bos zep pun x tau mandarin.. so tiap kali meeting dgn taiwanese kitorang kena jadi translator
