LaVyrle Spencer
frankly i enjoyed her books even more than sandra brown
although mind you brown wrote more books --
and she is one of the bestseller author in new york times -
spencer wrote great stories
and i mean - GREAT!! --
i read ALL her books and the first ever book of hers
i read actually was not her first book --
i borrowed it by mistake cuz there's no new books left
at that time - and i saw this book titled:
family blessings - years ago-
and this story about a woman in her 40s - (Lee)
lost his son in war (Greg) and fall in love with her son's roommate
(name Chris) whom brought the news of her son demised - and
she turned to Chris for comfort and they fell in love --
very touching story full of wits and joy and conflict
about falling in love with younger guy - very touching book
and since then i read ALL her books
and i love most her books and read them at least
twice (some i read more than 5 times)
Bittersweet ( the BEST -- read more than 5 times)
Twiced loved ( great love story and conflct)
November of the Heart( i lovee this one!!! u will cry reading this)
Hummingbird
Vows ( I love this too - lots of funny scene)
Separate beds
Spring fancy
a heart speak
the fulfillment (her first novel)
the endearment
then came heaven
the gamble
the hellion
etc etc ... and they are all very good books! -
gosh she wrote a lot of books and i've read them all
cuz her writing just so awesome and you wanna read
all her books!! --
her genre mostly love story but with lots of family oriented
and funny wits and some conflict --
wayyyyyy better than danielle steele i must add! -
i really recommend LaVryle Spencer for those who are
looking for a new book and not sure which author u wanna -

Saya ader beli her hardcover 3 in 1 book kat S'pore few yrs back tapi blom bace lagi..murah jer buku tu..SGD25..3 stories kat buku tu..one of the stories ..November of the heart.. |

same with u dexa.. aku pon suka bitter sweet (dah baca berulang2 kali.. x terkira dah!)

Memang bestkan buku dia, tapi ramai yang tak suka sebab heroine dia matang, ada yang mencecah 40 tapi untuk saya yang dah over 40, memang suka baca heroine tua-tua sikit .. hehehe |

buku tu aje rasanya --
yang heroinnya dewasa sikit
tapi still...a great love story though
lelaki tu about 15 years younger rasanya -
but matured --
buku2 spencer yang lain macam separate beds tu
heroin tu budak lagi rasanya baru habis high school
yang one night stand dengan anak orang kaya
then depa kawin juga tapi went separate ways sebab
both immature
sampai masa berlalu about 4-5 years jumpa balik
(the guy masa tu dah ada gf and the girl still single mom)
depa fall in love again
and.............. well it is a great book -
saya suka separate beds tu
dan VOWS pun best... hero dia biasa2 tapi kindness
dan farmer rasanya....
bittersweet tu pun....ishhhhhh tu yang BEST sekali

Buku2 tu dah lama baca, I think dah baca Vows, cuma separate beds tu belum lagi rasanya...
Baru je korek keluar dari almari dan read for the second time That Camden Summer. I like strong heroine cam Roberta ni.
Sypnosis :
Theyear is 1916. Them place ia a tiny New England village called Camden - where a newly divorced woman learns that love can be more special the second time around......
When free thinking divorcess Roberta Jewett returns to her hometown of Camden, Maine, she discovers that small town folk consider a divorced woman little more than a prostitute. BTW I think A few of Spencer's books like Home Song was made into a movie cuma nak cari CD movie ni kat sini susah sikit..

then 7 years later husband balik
(masa husband hilang dia pregnant -
dapat anak lelaki)
memang touching story sebab conflict
nak balik husband ke nak dengan best friend
yang sama2 bersusah payah tolong dia besarkan
anak dia dan tolong dia dalam kehidupan...

1st book saya baca the camden house..dr saitu sy dh terpaut ngan gaya tulsian dia..family oriented..and yes hero2 n heroin tua2..kekekekkee
2nd separate bed..not bad...hero mude2 plak
3rd morning glory..aah yg ni sedihhh
