Plot

Kong is a deaf gunman, an assassinfor hire who can neither hear his gunshots nor the people pleading withhim not to kill them. He receives his assignments through Aom, ahostess at a Bangkok go-go bar.  

Kong lost his hearing when he was a child. Because of hisdisability, he was taunted by other children, and he grew up into anangry young man.

At a target range, he found he had a special aptitude for target shootingwhen he pictured the faces of the boys that taunted him in the target.His deafness gives him an edge in shooting, as he doesn't react to thegunshots and can better hold his attention on his target. He eventuallygets a job as a janitor at the range.

One day, while cleaning up, a customer named Jo is at the range withhis girlfriend, Aom. Jo notices Kong watching them. He then offers the pistol to Kong, who impresses Jo and Aom with his shooting abilities.

Jo then takes Kong under his wing and shows him more how to shoot.And, when Jo injures his gun hand, Kong is ready to take on more work.

Working for a mob boss, Kong is sent on a job to Hong Kong. He shoots his target while riding on the Hong Kong subway.
When Kong returns to Bangkok, he has a cold and needs some medicine,so he stops in a pharmacy and meets Fon, a pretty pharmacist who issomehow able to connect with the deaf. With Fon, friendship grows intosomething deeper. This changes Kong's perspective on life as herealizes that life can be meaningful, even for a deaf assassin like him.

Meanwhile, Aom is having trouble with one of the mob boss' henchmen,who ends up raping her. Enraged, Jo takes matters into his own hands,killing the henchman, which brings the mob's wrath down on Jo, which inturn leads to more revenge killing by Kong, and a final big shoot-outin a water bottling plant.




Aku tengok sikit preview dia kat wayang last week   BEST!!   Aku palingsuka bila nicolas cage was asked - so line of work are ya?  and hesaid  - Banking!!   Line tu classic  hey!!  ( a remake of 1999 - Thaimovie)

dah tengok matinee -
best  - saya suka film ni -

cuma make up joe - nicolas cage -
ada macam  pucat/pale  sikit -
(nampak banyak foundation pulak) -

overal - i enjoyed it-
i think the film is full with interesting action
ada sikit romantic - best juga ---
cuz there's also a love interest.. -
- his relationship is also interesting sebab perempuan
tu deaf --- so neither character has any way to communicate
with each other.

saya memang minat nicolas so --- suka tengok
dia berlakon dan script dia memang best -
dan - cara dia cakap tu  macam dia berlakon
con air  dengan john malkovich tu ---

dan saya sukaaaaa sangat dengan 'Kong'
hensem betul... macam muka dr muszaphar sikit -
comel aje -- bila senyum pun  cantik aje --
nama dia shahkrit yamnarm - berlakon pun okay juga -
cuma.. tak pasti  journey dia.. kira dia tu protege joe -
tapi... macam tergantung at the end --

overal - i love Bangkok Dangerous -
so, - pada yang suka action thriller -
yang suka tembak2 -- suka tengok nicolas cage
berlakon ---   macho aje masa dia naik moto
boleh la tengok movie ni

btw masa kat menam chao phraya tu -
yang floating market tu --  nice - sangat
saya dah pergi kat situ - barang2 makanan
jual pun murah2 juga --- --- memang best -
tapi sungai dia bukannya bersih sangat pun
dan ada juga budak2 situ yang mandi kat
chao phraya tu

Utk sebuah filem yg dijangkakan penuh aksi....agak slow dan melancholia citer ni....

Tapi part inter-culture tu memang agak menarik jugalah...aku suka part itu sahaja....terfikir juga bagaimana pula versi asalnya....

Dexa pernah tengok versi asal tak?

saya tak tengok semua versi asal -
sebab masa tengok tu -- kat rumah kawan
then -- had to go -
yang saya tahu  Kong yang jadi protagonist and Kong tu mute -

a bit tukar2 sikit dengan yang remake ni - tapi basically about the same
motive ---  the romance semua tu ada juga -

saya suka cerita ni -- hopefully dapat tengok full version yang original 2000 tu -

sebuah film tipikal aksi hongkong.....mmg gaya hongkong habis....

lgpun pang brother ni mmg hongkie mari....

film ni lg best kalo dicampur aksi2 trademark film thai yg lain....
