Salam.. aku nak tanye sikit lah.. boleh tak aku nak upgrade CPU untuk laptop aku? Ape benda yang aku kena consider untuk tukat CPU aku??
Kat sini aku letak system configuration laptop aku nie sekarang..
Model: Dell 640m

aku pakai presario, tanye kat kedai die kate takleh..tp tatau ar kalo kedai tu malas, nk suh kite beli baru.. |

yeke? tak bleh eh.. alamak.... tapi kan, ade satu kes yang aku nak tanye.. dulu kan mase aku beli laptop nie, member aku beli jugak..model yang same.. Dell 640m.. tapi member aku nie mase beli, dia mintak Dell upgrade terus. Tak silap aku, dia upgrade terus jadik CPU yang 2.0 GHz.. kalau tak silap.. so.. berpandukan kes yang jadik kat kawan aku nie, takleh ke aku nak upgrade CPU?? |

diorg upgrade ke, atau tukar mainboard - 1 sistem terus kot..? 
diorg buat tu sblom leptop tu masuk market, ok la.
member ko tu oder kat kilang direct. DELL tak pakai orang tengah. DELL takde dealer.
setahu aku laaa, processor leptop nih dah solder/pateri direct kat mainbod. takleh cabut dah.
sebab tuh kalo nk upgrade ni jadi rumit.
tambahan plak, mainbod ko tu support ke core2duo? kang bios/system rejek... takde pekdah...  |

depends pada socket. ada yang boleh dan ada yang tak boleh. baca manual for your laptop or go to Dell support website and look for service manual (check for your dell service tag - bottom of your laptop, usually - and enter it at dell support site). or, call dell.
oobi still uses latitude C840 and the processor is upgradeable - from 1.8 GHz to 2.4GHz. latest laptops should be better in term of upgrading parts. tak perlu tukar mobo. you boleh cabut cpu tu. but, for inspiron 640m, check with dell.
