nak tanya ada sesiapa tau macam mana nak buat baja nih? boleh nak recycle sisa-sisa makanantuh . jom kongsi kat sini... tq!

teramat interested in this composting. sebab I notice mmg byk betul compostible material yg selalu masuk lam tong sampah eg fruit peeeling, bruised veggies, newspaper yg buat lapiik potong sayur, eggshell and other odds and ends.
hari tu try chopped everything and dug a long hole kat belakang rumah and timbuskan semua tu plus some shredded paper. and about one month, I checked semua dah hancur... bagus.. tapi dah tak cukup tempat nak tanam2 compostible sampah ni..almaklum la kat belakang tu sekankang kera je |

takde coz saya make sure semua tertutup dgn tanah... kat atas tanah tu plak saya letak lagi extra newspaper layers.... tapi saya notice masa lepas sebulan saya dig balik tanah tu, mmg banyak cacing... nice big ones..
tapi org pelik la pulak tgk cara saya.....
mak mertua tegur kenapa tanah tu? cakap ngan MIL, saya nak bagi tanah tu rehat... |

saya interested in vermicomposting/worm compost... tapi satu susah nak dpt suitable cacing and cacing yg ada kat market mahalllll.... and its a bit nyusah coz its like having a pet that you have to take care of..
so now I am back to trench composting.

compost tu baja la..
Air Beras tu lain kali jangan buang... kalau disimpan dan ia reput dlm 1-2 minggu, tadaa suda ada formula EM-1 ( effective micoorganism. |

selalu dengar pasar EM ni... but usually in lab situationn or as project paper...so kalau saya simpan and reputkan air beras (semata-mata) for a few weeks, lepas tu siram kat compostible garbage heap saya tu, dia akan lagi cepat composted , betul? or just guna air beras reput tu as it is? air dia saja ke or better dgn beras2 dia sekali? more info please. |

Michel抯 easy EM
In a large mixing bowl, mix a bunch of starchy cooked leftovers. We mixed a lot of cooked rice with some sweet potatoes. To this we added about 1 kg of cane sugar (molasses would also work).
Find a nice spot outside in a grove of trees that抯 shady and has a diverse and thriving arrangement of plant life. The diversity and healthy plants indicates a healthy ecosystem and a good crop of ambient microorganisms. Mix a couple handfuls of soil into the bowl and cover with a cloth to keep critters out.
Let this mixture rot for about 1 week. Add the mixture to about 2 gallons of water in a five-gallon bucket. Add food scraps and another kilo of sugar or molasses. Let this brew for about a month. Aliquots of the resulting liquid can then be diluted with water about 1:20 and used to water your plants. Repeated additions of sugar can keep the stock of microbes going for a few months, possibly up to a year. If it ever smells sour and gross it抯 done and can be composted.

mias, another good info... yup, my mom selalu simpan air beras untuk siram her pokok bunga and turn out the leaves all gemuk2 and greeny and bigger.... geram jerk tengok but the smell a bit stink la... and my dad akan bising kalu letak lelama kat dapur sebab x tahan dgn bau dia tuh... |

aha kalau nak buat tempat compost pun; ideanya adalah agar timbunan sampah bersaliran baik ... kadang2 ko bolih test compost ko ... kalau didalamnya panas... then thats a good sign
sya punya tempat compost dulu, buangan garden sia kasi kisar pakai machine ... jadi kici2 baru sya kasi letak kat compost pile.. |

eheh...buat satu lingkaran dr dawai, isi daun2 kering, sampah, paper lama... plus selangseli sket tanah... pastu sesekali siram air beras... lps sebulan, jdlah tanah elok...bole diguna utk tanam pkk, just nk tanya, ok ker kandungannya? |

knapa page nih kat blakang.. info penting nih.. especially time recession nih.. nak beli tanah pong kureeenng wang.. inikan pula baja..
ada sesiapa nak sumbang ide baru baja kompos??

maksud ummi.. mcm orang cina bakar kertas duit 'syorga' dia tuh.. kot la boleh buat mcm oven yg ader tiga layer, letak kertas kat bawah, letak sisa dapur kat tengah dan tanah kat atas skali.. bila bakar kertas kat bawah, yg kat tengah dan atas mereputs.. dan jadik tanah kompos ka..  ader ker cara yg sedemikian...
ummi men tabur ja atas tanah kat pangkal pokok sbb terkene penyakit 'MNM' (Malas Nak Merenyah)... hehehe... |
