internet problem

semalam ok je internet kat laptop ni tapi hari ni tiba2 je limited connectivity ..dah buat ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew

tak boleh..dah uninstall reinstall network pon tak boleh..wireless detect ..kabel cat 5 tu tak detect..tapi bila aku type ipconfig/all apsal dns server tak ada mcm kat pc lain..mungkin laptop tak ada dns server..tapi sebelum ni ok..

dah disable windows firewaall..dah restore windows firewall..tak boleh..mcm mana nak selesai

Aku assume ko leh connect ke network/router. Mungkin router tu ada problem nak connect ke modem... atau router/modem problem... or check line tipon/splitter etc.

The internet always got problem, they kept on saying that the internet conectivity is not limited tell me pls someone

we didn't speak "engilsh" but we can speak english though.

ok, here's the thing, you have to understand that "screamyx" is not a very good ISP. their line is always like that 1. if it said that the connection is limited, and then you re-dialled and it connected again, that's what we call a disconnection or DC. If ur using a modem router, it will simply re-diall back for you.

1. if u change ur modem, and the problem is solved, then your old modem got some sort of a problem. I have the original 1 from TM and its always disconnected, when I finally bought a modem router, the problem is finally solved.

2. if ur connection always disconnected even though changing the modem, you have to ask them(TM) what the heck is the problem.

You need to be a bit more specific.

1. Who said your internet connectivity is NOT limited? Was it your ISP representative? Or was it a message on-screen? Perhaps it said you have limited connectivity instead of NOT limited.
2. Who's your ISP?
3. How are you connected to your modem? Cable? Or wireless to a router/modem?
4. What OS are you using? XP? Vista?
5. When did this problem start? From the first time you setup your PC for internet connection or only just recently?

From my experienced, most of the the problem was due to modem/router or PC problems. Rebooting PC/modem/router normally solve the problems. If not then configuration issue at the equipment.

from what i know, limited connectivity are Network related. so, u just have to repair the connection (rightCliCk-repair -on the networking icon). or maybe it is better to use manually entered IPs and DNS.

sebelum ni tab authenticated dgn advanced tu ada tapi lepas install kaspersky 9 terus tak dpt internet tapi firwall dia dah disable ..tengok dekat internet connection jadi mcm tu..windows firewall tak boleh masuk..

nampak sangat pakai auto IP. DHCP mmg tak stabil sangat.

kalo wifi tu detect, check IP apa yg wifi tu guna.
pastu enter manually kat LAN TCP/IP properties tuh. follow header ip accordingly.

sebenarnya DHCP ni stabil kalau setting dalam router betul....sebab tu kena setkan ip dan save pastu reboot....dulu saya pun ada masalah ngan DCHP tapi sekng takde masalah tu lagi kerana ianya disetting ngan betul....

masalah utama dalam hal ni..personal firewall seperti comodo boleh jadi punca wireless jadi limited.....pastikan semua firewall disablekan dulu...baru kita boleh memikirkan langkah lain....

kadang2 juga LAN cable yang problem...bleh jadi limited connectivity...cuba adjust LAN cable or SWAP....kat modem setting sepatutnya DHCP tu disable kan?

kalau dalam rumah senang kita kaji router tersebut tapi kalau public wifi seperti di mcd atau kfc...mahupun kawasan kolej....ini yang masalahnya....sebab router tersebut tak berada di depan mata kita.....

saya pernah kena limited connection di kfc...kali pertama kena...saya dapat kenal pasti...puncannya adalah comodo...kali kedua kena...saya sendiri pun tak faham....tapi di rumah takde masalah pulak....

so boleh kita kata...router tersebut ada masalah..atau pihak kfc yang limit kan connection atau ada org org kat situ yang sengal...guna free wifi untuk download dari torrent dan sebagainya sampai bandwith terganggu....

kalau nak guna dhcp...mesti kena enable...pastu save dan reboot...pastikan ip dhcp bermula atas skit dari ip router...nanti konflik plak.....
