nak mintak pandangan forumer kat sini..burn ada masalah. burn selalu guna internet guna PC kat ofis..dan ofis burn nie plak pakai server, networking. sekarang nie ada orang pakai email burn utk mengutuk orang lain. dah banyak kali tukar password tapi ada orang reset kepada password asal.. macam mana ye..betul ke server nie boleh tahu password kita ..kalo macam tu bahaya lah kalo buat internet banking...nimungkin kerja orang HR lah kan..sb diorang yang control server..??:@

admin panel buleh diguna utk reset password.

even server hosting email pun ada admin panel utk create/delete/edit/ email account. termasuk la ubah/reset password.

suruh admin tukar password server/password admin panel.

kesimpulannya siapa admin dia lah yg ada kuasa. ko ada gaduh dgn admin or geng2 dia tak?? klu ada geng admin senang minta tolong. kalau idak...

Aku assume tu company nyer email yg ko guna and 'hacker' tu guna utk kutuk2 orang.

Ada 2 benda ko boleh buat:
1. Tulis surat formal ke management and buat complain... bagi sebanyak bukti yg ko boleh. Orang2 IT atau server admin takleh buat gitu kat ko... atau biarkan orang lain buat gitu. Kalau dah buat report tu tapi company buat tak reti jer, kalau aku, aku buat polis report... email ni takleh main2... nanti dia tu gi guna email ko and gi buat hal yg menyalahi undang2 ko jugak akan kena.
2. Online banking tu stop guna kat ofis tu - memang dah ada orang yg takleh percaya kat situ.

parah ni. dulu aku masa practical, aku jadik admin mail server. memang admin ada kuasa besar, nk tukar password ke, nak guna email tu ke, nak delete email ke, semua boleh. sama ada orang yg buat benda tu admin ataupun orang yg tau password admin. report kat admin, klu da report dia buat tak tau je, mungkin dia dalangnya, dan ko mesti report kat higher management.

server admin yg bertanggungjawap.. sure die reset password awak??
kalau sure buat report pada HR.. hantar email and CC pada bos2.. baru padan muka system admin..

tp kadang2 admin tak payah reset passwrd awak pun.. dia bole hantar email seolah2 awak yg hantar (guna address awak).. tp tu depend on email server security.
cuba awak hantar email kat saya..  hantar kat [email protected] .. i try tgk apa yg patut

your statement is not detail enough to determine who's at fault. without enough detail, we can only speculate. many questions you need to check:

1. do you use office email or personal email in the office?
2. how do you know your email password has been changed? do you have to ask email admin to reset whenever this happen?
3. when you mentioned about password, is it email password, your network password or computer password?
4. what's your basis to say that your HR controls the server and what server are you talking about? fyi, i never knew that HR really have control on a server. they may have power user access but not admin access as i never knew an HR person know how to manage a server. they know how to use, just like other users, but not to manage.

system/network admins are the one who have full access to any servers. in big company, messaging team is the only team who have access to email related servers and applications - not even system/network admins can touch the servers.

i can make an email coming from you just by knowing your email address. no need to access any of your office server, your computer, etc. knowing your email address is more than enough.

answer:

1.personal email
2.this is my personal email (yahoo), so when i want to log in to my email, they changed my password to the old one.
3.email password
4.coz, my HR people control and manage our office server..

tak tahu plak, boleh hantar email guna my email address tanpa masukkan my password..macam mana bolehjadi macam tu. kalo macam tu yahoo punya security mmg hampeh la..masalahnyer ini ada lah my personal email kenapa dia boleh sesuka hati masuk macam tu..ini dah kira case khianat...

thanks oobi for your explaination. tapi risau plak kalo nak pakai internet banking kat ofis nie... kalo dia boleh tahu password kita..

cemana diorg leh tau ymail punya password?

u  better change yur personal infos & secret question kat YMail setting.

if not related, mungkin la diorg letak u punya YMail address kat "sender" tu.
aku pun kadang2 dpt email dari aku sndiri, tapi bila check balik, reply address tak sama.

in reality, there's nothing personal in the office. companies have full rights to monitor what you're doing, even personal things because you're using company equipments and time. however, they don't have the right to touch your personal sutffs.

in your case, even though HR controls/manages your company servers, i don't see how they can access your yahoo mail account, unless they put some kind of keylogger/monitoring device on your office equipments (which is illegal unless they advise you first - they still have to respect your privacy in the office).

again, you still don't provide enough proof why you think your HR is the one that caused this issue. Do you have sample email that was distributed around that used your yahoo mail account? it could be anybody. could be somebody that you don't even know that do this on behalf of somebody that you know. it's not hard to take over computer from remote location, nowadays.

you can even make the reply address come from you. so many examples on the internet and people use them daily, they just don't realize it. when you reply, you'll see your email address in the 'To' field.
