Didera Anak Menantu Kejam Sampai Mati Sebab Tak Tahan Jaga Ibu Sakit Strok

Anak dan menantu dipercayai tidak tahan menjaga seorang warga emas yang menghidap strok, memukul mangsa hingga maut dalam kejadian di Taman Tambun Tulang, Arau semalam.
Ketua Polis Daerah Arau, Superintenden Ahmad Mohsin Md. Rodi mengesahkan laporan diterima pihaknya pukul 5.30 pagi menerusi pegawai perubatan dari Unit Kecemasan Hospital Tuanku Fauziah (HTF) Kangar yang memaklumkan terdapat pesakit meninggal dunia disyaki dipukul.
 POLIS merampas beberapa barangan di rumah suspek di Taman Tambun Tulang, Arau, Perlis yang dipercayai mempunyai kaitan dengan kejadian berkenaan.
Katanya, mangsa yang berusia 74 tahun itu pada mulanya dihantar ke unit kecemasan hospital berkenaan pada pukul 4.10 pagi dalam keadaan tidak sedarkan diri walaupun pasukan perubatan telah memberi rawatan awal.
“Pemeriksaan dilakukan pasukan perubatan pada bahagian luaran badan mangsa mendapati kesan lebam di kedua-dua mata, dahi, telinga kanan dan sedikit kesan luka pada jari kaki kiri,” katanya.
Mengulas lanjut, Ahmad Mohsin berkata, hasil siasatan awal mendapati anak perempuan mangsa berusia 34 tahun turut mengaku ada memukul warga emas berkenaan dengan menggunakan tangan di bahagian muka dan kepala, semalam.
Beliau berkata, menantu mangsa juga disyaki terlibat dalam kejadian itu berdasarkan kepada keterangan yang meragukan.
“Kejadian berpunca daripada pertengkaran di mana anak perempuan mangsa dikatakan tidak tahan dan terlampau tertekan dengan ragam warga emas itu yang mengidap strok pada bahagian badan sebelah kiri.
“Kedua-dua suspek mengaku tidak bersalah membunuh warga emas itu dan siasatan sedang dijalankan di bawah Seksyen 302 Kanun Keseksaan kerana membunuh,” katanya.
Dalam pada itu, Ahmad Mohsin berkata, mayat mangsa turut menjalani proses bedah siasat di Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah (HSB), Kedah dan mendapati terdapat kecederaan pada tubuhnya dengan kesan lebam di bahagian kedua-dua belah mata, dahi, ubun kepala dan lidah sisi kiri akibat tekanan.
Tambahnya, mangsa juga mengalami patah tulang rusuk kiri akibat tekanan dan punca kematian diklasifikasikan sebagai ‘pending laboratory analysis’ sementara menunggu keputusan makmal.
“Siasatan di lokasi kejadian turut dijalankan dengan dibantu pasukan Forensik Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Perlis dan turut membuat beberapa rampasan disyaki mempunyai kaitan dengan kes yang disiasat,” katanya.
Sementara itu, seorang penduduk setempat di taman itu yang ingin dikenali sebagai Kak Leha, berkata, pasangan suami isteri itu telah menetap di rumah berkenaan bersama ibu mertua mereka sejak lebih setahun lalu.
Katanya, mereka juga jarang bergaul bersama komuniti setempat dan hanya bertegur sapa jika terserempak sekitar taman berkenaan.
“Pasangan itu mempunyai tiga orang anak malah mereka juga menjaga ibunya yang sedang sakit,” katanya.
