ASUS padfone

I kinda like the idea of ASUS padfone whereby you can use two different gadgets with just one sim card. From an Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone to a Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with 5x longer battery capacity, that is just so brilliant!!



I'm considering to get one very soon, but do you think other companies would come out with a similar concept of smartphone? Should i give it a try?

pernah dengar pasal Asus Padfone ni...tp pasarannya tak meluas....cer tanya kat kebanyakan kedai HP...even kat Big HP shop kat Loyat sana....depa tercengang2 bila ditanya pasal menatang ni.....Asus Prime pun ramai yg tahu ape kemendenya ..inikan plak model ni....bTW....konsepnya mmg bagus...

If you remember, Asus introduced the PadFone, a tablet/smartphone hybrid, last year. Although we haven't heard much about the PadFone in quite some time, MoDaCo has some juicy newsthat caught our attention. They're reporting that Asus has confirmed that they will launch the extraordinary device atMobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 27th.

Rumors are flying that the PadFone will be packing Android 4.0, along with a Tegra 3 processor, despite the fact that we heard the phone will feature a Qualcomm processor. We also learned that the tablet half of the PadFone will be able to use the dock from the original Asus Transformer, which gives users even more functionality. In any case, MWC is a month away, so it won't be long before the mystery of the PadFone is revealed. The video below gives us a better idea of what ICS and the PadFone will be like.
