Which one is better, stand-alone GPS or a GPS in a smartphone? Do you think that I have to buy a new stand alone GPS?

I'm sorry if this a noob question, it's because my GPS in my smartphone is having a problem ( cannot lock the current location, very slow ). I badly need this for my work ( Im in sales n marketing ).

g bod handphone tuk lebih mklumt lnjut..nih bod personal problem ..bc peraturan bod elok2 ..dh tepek kt atas tu pun x leh nk bc ke?
