The last price change for the premium fuel [color=#9900 !important]happened in early September, when the price was cut by 10 sen to RM2.75 per litre. [color=#9900 !important]Prices of RON 95 petrol and diesel remain at RM2.30 per litre and RM2.20 per litre respectively. Unlike these two fuels, the pricing of RON 97 is minimally subsidised and claimed to be derived by market forces, so price changes happen more often. This is the cheapest RON 97 petrol has been in a long time – it cost [color=#9900 !important]RM2.60 per litre in July 2012. At RM2.55 per litre, it’s only 12 sen more expensive than [color=#9900 !important]RON95’s unsubsidised price of RM2.43 per litre, according to the subsidy notices that’s found on every pump.
