Buddhist Dhamma - Master of emotions

One day Buddha passes through a small village where some people throw filthy languages at Him.
Buddha listens to them quietly for a while and said: " thank you, but I have to hurry to another village."
One guy just can't believe what Buddha said and asked: " don't you hear we are swearing at you?"
Buddha replies: " I won't be commanded by what people say nor react to people's emotions. I am the master of emotions, not their slave."
