Dalam kes tone down lifestyle ni... i can thank my brother lah.. dia laa selalu perli2 i sbb heols tengok i ni setiap hari mesti kelek bekas starbucks.. bukan sekali sehari, tp 2 X sehari.. pagi wajib coffee... tengahari or petang another one dose...
Then bila kena perli dgn adik.. i tone down ke coffee home made.. kat rumah je buat sendiri bekfes... lepas tu i minum americano ais kat ofis provide je.. or americano ais mcdonalds.. cheap...
Lama2 i hilang relying on coffee to stay awake.. just minum coffee mcdonalds or bancuh sendiri aje bila teringin...
Healthier and jimat.
Dalam forced saving yang berkesan... of course i thanked my husband.. dia lah yang disiplin kan i dalam buat commitment savings....
Husband i kerja gomen PTD, dah almost 20 tahun berkhidmat.. very early 40s.. so bila keje gomen ni berapa sangat lah gaji nya kan.. dengan apa yang dia ada.. dia cuma dapat maximize and guna konsep leveraging... semasa kat KPKT, circa 2006... heols dpt beli beberapa rumah at very special developer price.... masa muda2 ni lah heols pulun beli rumah sampai 5 bijik.. and cara
Dia melayakkan dpt loan is dengan tunjuk income statement hasil dari tenancy agreement and actual duit keluar masuk. Husband i ada separate accounts utk properties transactions (rental income, bayar quick rents, management fees & installment payment) & another separate account for duit gaji, allowance /perbelanjaan.. umah kitorg duduk ni je yg dia pakai loan gomen...
Another leveraging concept yang dia pakai is ASB loan utk 1 & 2 and must be coupled with compounding.. dah belas tahun dia buat begini.. setiap bulan heols wajib bayar forced saving ASB dah berbelas tahun..
AHB plak heols yg perkenalkan kat i... sini payah nak forced saving sbb AHB hanya buka bila available fund wujud.. so bila fund bukak aje, kitorg terus sumbat segala apa yg ada masuk AHB. Alhamdulillah both of us dah full personal quota di AHB...
kitorg penuhkan AHB, ASB 1&2 dengan duit hasil jual rumah2 kitorg (i & husband let go total 6 biji rumah, just tinggal 1 je skang kitorg duduk) dan kebetulan i dapat duit pampasan tunggakan dividen ladang sawit sejak 1987 - 2021. FEL** ter"ceroboh" tanah ladang i. I beli tanah tu dari mak i in 2006, none of us tahu sbnrnya FRL*** tanam sawit di tanah i... mujur husband i yang skang ni figure out sbb dia expert bahagian tanah.. so dia yg tolong fight dengan management FEL*** |

Nikmati je duit yg ada, nk buat apa simpan je kan, buat umah cantik2 kita jugak yg selesa nak duduk happy je tiap kali balik umah..
Klu asik simpan x gunakan, nanti klu x panjang umur org lain plak yg guna cumanye jgn la smpi boros sgt smpi x d saving langsung kan |

Pernah ada saving sekian-sekian amaun. Tapi kena guna atas sebab luar jangka. Walaupun cukup duit, tapi nak belanja jumlah sebanyak tu memang berat sangat. Keadaan sekarang kurang dari dulu, tapi alhamdulillah dah ada simpanan melebihi amaun yang dah belanja tu. Simpan pun nak buat apa. Kata orang kaya - savings do not make u rich. |

lols... terbaca post i yang lama...
pembetulan.. bukan totally retired.. i amek unpaid leave 1 year... end of last year dah masuk kembali ofis... hihihihihihi
sbb i nak test water dulu lah.. boleh ke i duk rumah goyang kaki full time... mula2 start bisnes macam2 tu mmg la busy.. as time goes by... lepas 6,7 bulan.. bisnes dah mula stable and i am bored... my resort biz dah bayar balik kesemua initial investment i tu... yes, i dah kutip salary dari operation resort, ok la not bad.. sbb dapat consistently bayar gaji 5 pekerja full time + 2 directors (lengkap with EPF, SOCSO).. bila raya dpt kasi bonus....
bile tengok post lama ni.. byk dah jugak berubah sebenarnya.. i managed to early settle hutang crv tu (early by 3 yrs)..
pastu end 2021, i memandai pi buat hutang baru beli bmw... menyesal??? nope... is a reward for myself...
and bila businesses dah automate & fully utilize digital convenience (meeting online, transaction online, procurement online, accounts online, booking online, auto-self check in).. i pun dah familiar apa nak buat... so i decided utk get back to work lah... kebetulan my brother yang turut sama manage resort dengan i ni pun dah mula bekerja same company dengan i, cuma subsidiary yang berlainan.. so nak berulang ke mana2 pun senang kami sama company... pape pun roger sahaja utk back up each other...
and one thing yang realized bila ada multiple income ni... rasa diri lebih relaxed datang cabaran apa pun... sbb kita banyak fall back plan... orang buli tempat kerja??? go ahead, amek je unpaid leave or apply transfer.. i dont target strict career path dah... business ada masalah? no problemoooo... monthly income still jalan maa.. topup sat duit kat business utk recover, then off it goes stabilizing again... sama juga portfolio income... investment etc.. kalo terciduk.. kita relax, sbb ada banyak passive income lain yang kasi dividends....
like i summarized before income ada 3 jenis
1. passive income
2. active income
3. portfolio income
seriusly, cuba lah buat cam kitorang buat ni... mmg relax je hidup.. awal2 je rasa challenging,.. find your team / partners to support this

i rasa okay je nak self-reward... sbb self-reward ni lah yang menyebabkan kita rasa motivated and look forward in life...
masa awal2 menabung dulu mmg i strict nak mampus sampai rasa down sbb pakai kereta biasa brand jepun sedangkan gaji 20-30k... dah le bercerai (end 2017), rasa tak kaya plak tu sbb most income pi menabung2 tp takde nampak reward... penat tau saving & investing ni, tonedown lifestyle....selalu i vent out to my husband (i re-married early 2019) laa my frustration and keinginan utk ada something yang rewarding... so heols set target utk i bila sepatutnya i layak self-reward... kalo henbeg, setahun sekali bulan march dia kasi i beli apa i nak...
as time goes by, my strict commitment tu makin rasa relaxed and terbiasa... takde dah rasa forced saving tu sebagai beban... dan i dapat pupuk kesabaran utk tidak menyentuh my savings and investment.... kalo terusik sikit pun, i akan cepat2 topup balik...
and bila mampu, i bought something to reward myself... something i boleh pakai and enjoy... dulu i suka handbag.. tp bila chanel/dior/hermes makin melampau harga, i rasa bodoh and merepek je minat henbeg camtu... and i switched to something else...
