2021 SPRING JDRAMA
1. Ichikei no Karasu - Takenouchi Yutaka, Kuroki Haru (Fuji TV starting 5 April)
Iruma Michio is a criminal judge who conducts on-site inspections personally to reveal the truth of each case and prevent false accusations. Despite this, Michio always ends up causing troubles to his team while digging into incidents at his own pace. Sakama Chizuru, on the other hand, is a young elite who became an assistant judge. She works fast and efficiently, hence is always frustrated whenever she sees Michio's working style. However, Chizuru slowly realises that Michio believes in treating each case as "the life of each person" and starts to question herself on what else she can do as a judge other than making judgements.
2. Coffee Ikaga Deshou - Nakamura Tomoya, Kaho, Isomura Hayato (TV Tokyo starting 5 April) Aoyama Hajime is the owner of the mobile coffee shop Tako Coffee. He drives his mobile coffee car from city to city and heals the hearts of many with his warm cup of coffee.
3. Omameda Towako to Sannin no Motootto - Matsu Takako, Matsuda Ryuhei, Okada Masaki (Fuji TV starting 13 April) Omameda Towako recently become the president of the construction company "Shirokuma Housing". She has experienced three divorces and is currently living with her 15 year old daughter, Uta. Although Towako has been divorced thrice, she remains bright and lives her life strongly. However, her life is constantly disrupted by her three troublemaker ex-husbands.
4.Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte - Kawaguchi Haruna, Yokohama Ryusei (TBS starting 20 April) Mashiba Karumi is a young woman who loves dressing up. She works as a PR for interior maker "el Arco Iris" and has nearly 100,000 followers on her social media, which she uses to promote her company. She hopes to work hard and become the "longing existence" to Hayama Shogo, the president of her company who she secretly likes. However, Kurumi suddenly got forced out of her apartment after forgetting to renew her contract. She ended up moving into a shared apartment in Omotesando with four other people. Kurumi begins to learn living with different people and she starts to spend more time with Fujino Shun, one of the occupant who is a chef and lives a simple life unlike her.
5. Koi wa Deep ni - Ishihara Satomi, Ayano Go (NTV starting 14 April) A sea-loving oceanographer who wants to protect the sea, meets a marine resort owner's son who is trying to develop the resort. The two people from different world ends up having a forbidden love.
6. Sakura no Tou - Tamaki Hiroshi, Hirosue Ryoko (TV Asahi starting 15 April) Kamijo Ren is the director of the Metropolitan Police Department's Investigative Cooperation Department. Due to a certain event in his childhood, Ren is someone who is hungry for power. He later becomes the Metropolitan Police Chief and decides to do various dirty works to go even higher.
7. Rikokatsu - Kitagawa Keiko, Eita (TBS starting 16 April) Mizuguchi Saki is a free-spirited, honest woman who works as an excellent editor of a fashion magazine. On the other hand, Obara Koichi is a serious ace member of an Air Self-Defense Force. The two with very different personalities got married immediately after a fateful encounter. It seemed to be a happy newlywed life but the couple had a huge quarrel after living in the same house due to their differences. The couple decides to plan for a divorce but keeping it a secret from everyone, including their co-workers, family, and friends.
8. Conte ga Hajimaru - Suda Masaki, Kamiki Ryunosuke, Nakano Taiga (NTV starting 17 April)
A young comedy trio, Macbeth that ends up dissolving due to low popularity. A lady who dropped out of her company and stays in her shell while working at a family restaurant. And the lady's younger sister who works in the night city without a goal. This is the story of five young people in their late 20s who try to overcome their great failures in life.
9. Dragon Zakura - Abe Hiroshi, Nagasawa Masami (TBS starting 25 April) 16 years later, Sakuragi Kenji shifts his focus from the past "memory test" to "practical academic ability test". How will Kenji continue to deliver the best study method to his students who are preparing for the entrance exam battle of year 2021?
10. Nemesis - Sakurai Sho, Hirose Suzu, Eguchi Yosuke (NTV starting 11 April) Named after the Greek goddess of vengeance, Detective Agency Nemesis consists of detective Kazama Naoki and his genius assistant Mikami Anna. Together, the duo decides to fight against evil and solve various difficult mysteries. The duo also has another purpose, which is to find Anna's father. However, whenever Anna finds a lead to her father, she will meet a new mystery that is linked to an incident 20 years ago.
