Firstly,Steve Irwin is not a saint as most of you make him out to be.

He was an astute businessman and earned millions from his TV documentaris and circus-like shows he puts on very week by teasing the poor crocs in his Australian Zoo.

Although I ackowledge the millions he has donated and the effort he put to conserve wild-life.

But at the same I hate his brand of so-called nature shows mainly because it is exploitative,intrusive and to some extent shows disrespect to animal world.I dislike the way he intrudes into animal habitats.

And not to sound imprudent or insensitive,but I think Steve deserved his death.And with his demise I hope there will be less such exploitative shows on TV.

Campaigners for PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals - blasted the TV star - who was killed last Monday, aged 44, by a stingray - about his life-long work with exotic animals.

PETA spokesman Dan Mathews said: "He made his career out of antagonising frightened wild animals, and that's a very dangerous message to send to young children."
