one of my favourite authors - most of her novel were best sellers
at new york times -
Tami Hoag
i read all her novel - and currently i am reading her latest novel
titled - DEAD SKY --
her genre is thriller and slightly romance (not as much as sandra brown's romance)
but her writing is simple and easy to understand -
some with humors too -- and once you read tami's novel you would love
to read more of hers --
her best novel that i would read over and over again would be Still Waters -
the story happened in Still Water - a place in minnesota if i am not mistaken -
and the romance in this movie just sooooooooo awesome --- (between john and elizabeth)
the best scene was when both were in elizabeth's kitchen........now that's what i called romantic!! -
and the mystery and action/thriller was very well written
the first book of tami i read was lucky's lady - very good book and some humorous scene too -
i recommend you to read that plus still waters!!

hmmm i am not sure what else -- i might missed some but those are
her books that i read throughout since at school --
and right now i am reading her latest
DEAD SKY - this is about the judge that been attacked after she rules
that the gruesome murder were inadmissable -- and in that crime the mother
and her two adopted girls were hanged and murdered brutally!! --
a great plot and good writing so far and i just started reading it yesterday
and already i love it very much --
for those who love thriller and a bit romance (on the side) and good story plot
tami hoag is your author -

this is the book that i am currently reading -
Synopsis
It was a crime so brutal it changed the lives of even the most hardened homicide cops. The Haas family murders left a scar on the community nothing can erase, but convicting the alleged killer, Karl Dahl, is a start. Only Judge Carey Moore seems to be standing in the way. Her ruling that Dahl's prior criminal record is inadmissible as evidence against him raises a public outcry - and puts the judge in grave danger.
When an unknown assailant attacks Carey Moore in a parking garage, Detectives Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska are called in to investigate and keep the judge from further harm. Then Karl Dahl escapes custody, and the judge is kidnapped from her home even as the police sit outside watching her house. With no time to spare, the detectives are pulled down a strange dark trail of smoke and mirrors, where no one is who they seem, and everyone is guilty of something. |

i love grisham too sheldon - well i love his old stuff --
his recent novels kinda -- dull plot mostly but he was a great author
nevertheless ---
i assure you you not gonna regret once you read tami hoag's novel --
u can start with lucky's lady or even still waters (my old time favourite of tami's)
trust me - you gonna love it!! ---

hehehe...tami hoag is my favourite author..
banyak buku dia yg saya dah baca tapi saya ada 2 buku aje sbb masa zaman dulu2 saya selalu sewa aje...cerita dia semua best...the first book that i read was DARK PARADISE...then followed by NIGHT SINS...

dulu2 saya suka sesangat baca buku crite thriller/suspense cam ni..paling tak suka baca crite romance..rasa bosan aje...tapi semenjak layan twilight terus start baca buku2 chic lit plak...now layan Sophie Kinsella plak...huhuhuhu... |

kalau awak jenis yg leh layan cerite mystery/suspense/thriller, sure suke baca tami hoag ni...
just like comments from dexa kt atas nun, ada certain books die yg ada a bit romance jugak..contohnya cam dalam Dark Paradise tu..anyway, enjoy ur reading..coz saya pun baca buku2 tami Hoag ni lebih kurang 10 tahun yg lalu...dulu rajin sewa kt secong hand book kt Central Mkt,Kl tu...dulu2 kalau gi situ jer pasti cari buku Tami Hoag...hehehe |
