What? Changing IPs to change net speed? Dulu yes kalau guna screamyx... IP 128.x.x.x paling laju... tapi sekarang aku rasa semua sama hampeh jer... |

Yep... I got access to different accounts including the so-called hi-speed test account at TM. Not much different among them, all suck! All I can tell you don't go falling for their 4mbps, false promises. Glorified ISDN line aside, Malaysian land-lines are not gonna hold the speed. The lines quality just sucks.... I can get better speed while I was in the States using dial-up modem....
But, as you said.... deal with it or you're not gonna have internet. The best you can do is learn about throthling & port-forwarding & get a customised Linux Firewall or a pre-made distro such as IPCop & start tweaking... I got quite a decent portion of bandwidth from it..... |
