Dazzling Light Sparks JP Revival

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 2nd Dazzling Light Festival was launched last night at the Jerudong Park Garden with the aim of boosting the country's tourism industry and reviving the popularity of Jerudong Park.

This was said by the Director of Tourism, Sheikh Jamaluddin Sheikh Mohammad, who was the guest of honour, at the Grand Opening of the Dazzling Light Festival at the Jerudong Park Garden.

The event provides wholesome family entertainment that is both educational and eye-opening where kids can see large lanterns featuring UFO, Robots, Fantasy Creatures and Aliens.

Russel Finney, General Manager of Jerudong Park Country Club, and Tony Lim, Managing Director of Afortune Intl, handed over a souvenir to the guest of honour, who was also brought on a tour of the lanterns and saw the performance of Fire Dance by JPCC Entertainment Team and the Grand Finale, the Fireworks Show with Musical Fountain Show.

The event attracted hundreds of people. The exhibit brings families to a fantasy world combining science and imagination. The theme of this year's exhibition highlights some of the children's dreams and fantasies about far off places such as in space, as well as fantasyland found only in story books.

The 2nd Dazzling Light Festival will end on August 3, 2008. The tickets for the festival are as follows: Monday to Thursday $7 for an adult and $5 for a child; while on Friday to Sunday, the ticket costs $9 for an adult and $6 for a child. School tour costs $4. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin

Thank you for sharing. The night lights and fountains in this park are very beautiful. If I can, I will go to this park to see such a beautiful night view.
