Aku tak nampak sebab kenapa perlu install software di partition lain selain dari OS partition. Kalau format C:/ pastu reinstall windows pun, aku rasa, kebanyakan software2 tu masih kena reinstall semula. Kalu tak takmo jalan, atau tak betul. Ini kerana kebanyakan software kang byk dependencies kepada registry (Object oriented programming -> dll registered in registry 1st ). Kalu format OS partition, registry pun sure hilang gak.
Kalau nk letak default My Document pada partition lain mmg sesuai sbb data ni portable.
User temp terpulang pada masing2 nak set kat mana.. aku mmg jenis default je
Ni stat dari aku punya w/stn ni (baru format dan install software): no data :- 15 GB of C:\ USED. Tu utk software, OS dan driver sahaja (bukan byk sgt software pun, cuma setiap satunya mmg beso2)
2GB for hibernation (RAM 2GB) |

kalau tak boleh nak buat reformating mungkin ader problem time buat defragmentation jugak..
pasal hard disk dah ader bad sector..
tak silap ader tools yg boleh markup kat section bad sector hard disk tue supaya everytime hardisk tue di access
kawasan yg bad sector tue akan di skip.. |

tapi biasanye kalau dah ader bad sector..
prepare jer la nak beli hard disk baru..
buat cloning siap2 hard disk lama.. |

that depends on what software you're installing. In my case, there's no way I can retain the software and make it usable without reinstalling them. Most software I use depend much on registered object
Backing up registry? hah.. useless.. Just imagine if u somehow overwriting vital memory keys/data and accidentally/unwillingly make something on your PC unusable? |
