Classic baby talk
By ELLEN WHYTE
SMALL, vulnerable and living symbols connecting the past to the future, babies capture the hearts of those they meet. English idioms frequently centre on infants, but while some images are cute and cuddly, more focus on the noise and fuss they make when unhappy.

A babe in the woods

This phrase comes from an Elizabethan story, 慍hildren in the Wood |
