print SPOOL very slow..tolong!

camne nk atasi kelambatan nie?

bile print,dia punye print spooler run very slow (shared printer..there are several workstation inmy ofice )..ia ambil masa 1 minit untuk print tu keluar..

kadang2 pc get stuck..what makes tis happens?..sebab sebelum nie office I gune windows98 xde masalah pun..bile tukar winxp jadik camnie..

has anyone here faced same situation and how did u overcome this problem?

ramai yg pakai Windows Xp mengalami masalah ni terutamanya bila cancel satu document, document lain yg spooling takleh da print. ni caranya bila print spooler tu berhenti.

1. Bukak Control Panel
2. Administrative Tools > Services > Print Spooler
3. Right click print spooler tu, select Stop. Jangan tutup windows ni dulu. Switch off printer tu.
4. Right click Print Spooler tu balik, dan select Start.
5. Pegi Control Panel, bukak Printers & Faxes. Carik printer tu, dan double click printer tu. Lepas tu kena la cancel all documents.
6. Switch on printer tu balik, dan print la balik suma document.

Cara lain yg lebih mudah, restart komputer yg connect ke printer tu, tapi akan ambil masa yg lebih panjang.

kaedah nie I dh gune...

start --> run --> services.msc --> stop & start again print spooler..

still the same..

masalahnye walaupun print job I dah clear/delete but it still slow bile print..

ade cara lain x?

thanx mazimus ..it solves my problem walaupun I ubah sikit cara dari link yg U kasi..

cara yg I buat..

I tick port LPT1 then click apply..then I uncheck port LPT1 pastu apply change..kemudian, I check semula port asal (virtual printer port for USB)..disamping restart my printer..

kini..my staffs' pcs can print instanly..

ps: I hope mod can give some credits to maximus for his afford to get rid of my problem..

isk..nampaknye masih slow lagi printer spool tue..setiap kali start windows kene buat step di atas..ingatkan sekali buat utk selamanye..

nampaknye kene carik jalan lain.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!1
