A tune by P. Ramlee struck a chord with talented Indonesian musician Ahmad Dhani, resulting in it being included as the first single in his new album. AMY CHEW finds out more.

TWO years ago, Indonesian Ahmad Dhani of the popular rock band Dewa was shopping in a boutique in Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, when he was stopped in his tracks by a song playing over the sound system.
