Little Evil vs. Greater Good

The question is, would you do little evil for the result of greater good?

Let's say, killing a rebellious group. If you have the power to do it, and you do it because you want to achieve greater good (for instance: peace), would you do it?

do you think the end justifies the means, even if it is an evil means?

do you still consider yourself a good person, and not evil?

yes i will do it but, i'm not calling it little evil , i would call it self defense because our right was being mess by other, are we gonna sit silence? the answer is "no"

to prevails justice, human use certain evil action. its normal.

to be not so strict and gentle approach only, it is are unbalance.....

and unbalance condition will create greater evil.

Depends on the situation, I think.

For instance, it's not OK for a kid to cheat in an exam just so he can get great results, no?

i think it's out of the context of what i meant. what i meant with greater good is doing evil means so the impact will be on the masses, maybe 70% of the population, as example. Not benefiting one person only as in the example you gave.

i'm asking this due to an event in a manga (japanese comics) where someone had to kill his entire kinsmen to avoid war (because his kinsmen/race/clansmen were so powerful and were planning to start a war. so this one person had the power to eliminate his clansmen so he killed them to avoid war--and for that, he also killed his own parents). is that good? is that bad? is that necessary because the future of the whole population would be in grave danger if he hadn't done it).

However right now, in my current mindset I can't do it.

this is also my issue with it. ws it right or wrong, was it good or bad.

but i also can't do it even if i'm capable of it, but the thing is, war will happen because i don't have the heart to.

so basically, minority yg amat kuat vs system yg rasa tergugat... right?

setelah minority yg kuat tu dihapuskan, apakah system tu automatik akan menjadi kuat? tidak kan?


kita hidup dalam dunia ni - realiti - yg mana... masing2 ada agenda... masing2 ada kepentingan
dan masing2 ingin melindungi kedua itu (agenda+kepentingan), sehinggakan sanggup utk korbankan
'diri' (meaning = 'mati' walaupun hidup), orang yg tersayang, maruah, ego & prinsip...

dalam usaha untuk mencapai semua itu - adakah masih wujud 'rasional'? masih wujud 'normal'?
mungkin tidak... peduli apa dgn semua itu - asalkan agenda tercapai & kepentingan dilindungi... kan?

tidak wujud istilah 'betul' ataupun 'salah' bila system vs system/system vs minority/minority vs minority

why?

sebab masing2 akan merasakan diri adalah betul, sedangkan kita yg diluar akan rasa sebaliknya
tapi adakah yakin & pasti bahawa kita yg diluar ni akan rasa sebaliknya? mungkin tidak...

mindset, brainwash, ideologi, prinsip - dan mungkin individu dalam system/minority itu sendiri pun 'sesat'...

& jangan lupa... 'betul' & 'salah' telah disetkan oleh system... & selebihnya dinilai oleh fitrah...
cuma 'halal' & 'haram' sahaja yg telah mutlak disetkan oleh Ilahi & spiritualiti...

ooo yer... lupa lak.... basic yg paling basic - fahamkan & bezakan apa itu dunia, fana', manusia & insan
mungkin dari situ akan dapat sedikit jawapan
