Pembuka thread, memang ada schedule maintenance atau time interval untuk maintenance, repair dan overhaul.... tapi kena nengok lee... check jenis apa based on flying time, flying hours atau calendar time untuk kapalterbang. Boeing punya interval time lain, Airbus pun ada interval time.
Macam Airbus, dipanggil C1/E1 check.... cukup sampai E10 tukar jadi C2 check dan setiap cycle check ialah 6000 hrs. Kalau ATA di atas jatuh dalam pakej untuk check2 yang seangkatan dengannya, pastinya LAE dan anak buahnya takkan terlepas pandang
Kalau passenger nak report pasal seat koyak, repot le pada steward/stewardess, nanti dia orang inform pilots, pilots boleh masukkan defect dalam dia orang punya technical log. Bila Tech service tengok log tu, nanti dia orang pula masukkan report dalam maintenance report minta dibaiki.

Just to highlight to you about the maintenance concept pertaining to the above matter.
Manufacturer's like Boeing and Airbus recommendations and/or requirements ...

i know cleaners do cleaning & engineers/operators do the maintenance stuff....what I wanted to say was do the cleaning ppl ever notice the flaw & feel responsible to bother the maintenance boys? to notify is just aint tough.... |

What I can say that is they referred to their Mininum Equipment List (MEL), and sure enough, it permitted the aircraft to be flown with a little spoilt by the annoying armrest
Surely, they would attempt to fix it. Enjoy your next flight! |

Hey it's just a damn SEAT okay?
Aku lagi rela naik airline yg maid die lupe check SEAT dr airline yg lupe cabut tape dr PITOT, airline yg xbuat maintenance skru kt ELEVATOR TRIM, airline yg xbetulkan CRACK kat FUSELAGE, airline yg main tuka AUTOPILOT INSTRUMENT dgn aircraft lain, airline yg main bantai SKRU KT WINDSHEILD, dan tindakan2 bodoh yg lain.
Even though MAS punye aircraft sumenye berusia, xde 1 accident pun jd yg disebabkan oleh lack of maintenance. Good Job, MAS. |

xkesah kalau nak nek airlines mana2 pon...janji kalau da ada proof kat sini,mmg benda tu ada ler..cuma terlepas pandang kot...at least boley infrom pihak yg berkaitan tok corrective action....bukan apa..kebanyakkan air crash ni terjadi dari sequence of certain and related events...kita mana tau benda tue nak jadi tindakan berantai....hurmmm..prevention is better than cure rite..
just jgn ler buat perbandingan airline A xselamat, airline B xmake good maintainence @ sebagainya sbb kita xtahu mcm mana company A,B,C buat benda tu semua...biasa la ada yg bawak rumors...kalau benda tu ada betol, just tepek pix jer..then kita tahu betol x...
mcm nie baru boleh maju...peace 2 all...

Ermmmm tak nak komen..
I am not working with MAS anymore, but I have my thrust on MAS engineering. They are good at their jobs.
Tapi kalau dah kapal lama nak buat macamana kan.., I kalau travel dalam negeri guna AA, tapi bukan sebab the airworthiness of MAS planes, sebab AA cheaper, new planes and more convenient . |
