verall, GACC is a very epic event.
Regarding the final cosplay competition, if possible speed up the selection of cosplayers picking the envelop as that section is very dull and time-waster especially the final solo competition's selection of envelops.
Chibi Matsuri totally need a major makeover to be a success. You can almost said that it is not a Matsuri at all and it is a failed event. It also looks like very rushed as no preparation is being made early. I suggest that you all do not prepare it at 6.00pm. Please made sure that by 12.00pm, there is some preparation for the Chibi Matsuri.
One more thing, the electronics and game section surrounding looks very dull and it looks like it had wasted a very huge space given to that section. That section is only 30% filled while it is 70% of empty space. So it looks very dull compare with the exam hall. Compare with last GACC events, they really have a type of platform of games to go at once while this event they go by section from before the tournament until after the tournaments. On the other hand, you guys/gals have more PC-based games in the events which in one way is good.
Please made sure that no vendors made a last minutes withdrawal so that it will not destroy the mood of the event. I know this may be their fault or something for agreeing without thinking. |

think overall it is not as good as previous years but it still manage to get my blood boiling 
One thing I want to suggest is instead of preparing only a few booklet with event schedule that only a few people will get, it is better to just print it on an A4 paper or something and paste it near the command center just like previous years. Of course I may have missed it. So if the committees did post the event schedule up then I deeply apologise for not noticing.
As for complaints, I want to point out the fact that a lot of things are done last minute and some of the committees were not given proper explanation on what they were supposed to do. Again I apologise if I'm wrong.
All the game tournament got delayed for around 30 minutes to 1 hour, some committee at the command center handed out the gamer tags to the participant even though the tags were supposed to be drawn at during the tournament sessions, etc.
And then there is the fact that there was only one PS2 and one PS3 for console game section. Only few people can play during free play and when it's time for tournament, only one other console is available to the visitors. This makes the game section less lively. And there are no back up controller but that's just a small problem actually :|
All my complaints are basically focused on the game section because I spent 90% of my time at GACC there . But I know that the high-comms and committees have really tried their best and sacrificed a lot of their time for this event. Kudos to you guys for making the event a success :3 |
