Misi mustahil anak buah Kim Swee

Japan Seeks Imports from Southeast Asia: Soccer Players
Japan's professional soccer teams see Southeast Asian players as a way of expanding their appeal. Among them is FC Ryukyu, based in Okinawa. It has acquired the services of 2 athletes who played for the Malaysian national team. Many reporters came from Malaysia to cover their Japanese debut. Some Malaysian broadcasters have gone so far as to negotiate for the rights to show the games in their country. A used car dealer operating in Southeast Asian nations is one of the sponsors of FC Ryukyu, and is pleased with all the attention. The sport is a game but also a business.

National U-16 record shock win over South Korea
PETALING JAYA : The national Under-16 side have put themselves in the driver’s seat for a berth in the AFC Under-16 Championship next year after recording a shock 2-0 win over favourites South Korea in a Group H qualifying match at the National Sports Complex Stadium in Vientiane, Laos, on Friday.
Striker Mohd Najmuddin Samat’s goal in the first half’s stoppage time and defender Mohd Amirul Ashraf Ariffin’s 61st minute goal earned them the win.
Malaysia are now second in the group behind Laos who both have seven points after three matches.
Laos, who beat Brunei 3-0 on Friday, lead on better goal difference.
The Malaysians, coached by S. Balachandran, were held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Laos in their opening match last Saturday before they whipped Brunei 8-0 on Monday.
Malaysia will next take on bottom side Guam in their last group match on Sunday, while hosts Laos will play third-placed South Korea.
A total of 43 teams spread over 10 groups are competing in the qualifying tournament. The 10 group winners and five best second-place teams qualify for next year’s Finals in Thailand.

Official: FAM say no to LionsXII, Harimau Muda to be dissolved
By FO Newsdesk -
November 25, 2015
The Harimau Muda concept is set to be dissolved after Football Association of Malaysia confirmed that it will be ending the 7 year-old program.
This comes after the sixth meeting of FAM’s Executive Committee, which was held at the Royale Chulan Hotel earlier today, where the decision was eventually announced. However, the 2017 SEA Games squad will be retained until the end of the games.
‘Harimau Muda’ was the brainchild of Khairy Jamaluddin, who was the Vice-President of FAM in 2007 and it was mainly created to produce a stronger group of youth players by keeping them together, and allowing them to compete in various leagues across the globe.
Program Harimau Muda hanya tinggal kenangan, namun diharap semua pemain teruskan usaha bg memartabatkan bolasepak negara! #AyuhHarimauMuda

While it did bring temporary success in the form of the SEA Games Gold Medal in 2011, the overall efficacy of the program has been questioned on countless occassions, particularly by state teams who are forced to let their talents go.
With the program coming to an end, all existing Harimau Muda players are likely to return to their state teams – which will subsequently boost the pool of players available to every team.
Meanwhile, FAM also confirmed that LionsXII will no longer be competing in the Malaysian Super League next season, bringing the curtain down on their three-year partnership with the Football Association of Singapore.

The Singapore-based side are currently competing in the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup and their immediate future is uncertain – though rumours suggests that the team could be rebranded to compete in the ASEAN Super League.
Meanwhile, a play-off match will be held between T-Team and ATM and the winner of that match will be handed the MSL slot which will be vacated by the departure of LionsXII.
