New York budget
New York, is known to be very intense metropolis: City never sleeps, the townspeople say.  At the same time, New Yorkers and visitors have to be expensive to pay for the sign of the world's financial capital: prices at restaurants, taxis and accommodation - an order of magnitude higher than that across America.

  A.  On the other hand - a wide range of consumer goods, electronics, and relatively inexpensive clothes.  Shuttles from Europe and Russia - are not uncommon on the streets of Manhattan.  A direct flight from Moscow to the city of Apple, a couple of gadgets and laptops, two bags with branded clothing and you paid for your ticket over the ocean ..

Two.  The local American (unlike California) does not averse to going to the skirts.  Well, yes, without the NYC would hardly have become one of the capitals of world fashion.

Three.  The famous Broadway delights relatively cheap clothes and ..  both disappointing and dirty streets of Chinese fake.

  4.  Living in a budget hotel Ukrainian church on the square named after Taras Shevchenko.  There is nothing religious, just the pastor gave us a welcoming luxury apartment in one of the oldest buildings in New York.

Five.  Just look at these ancient corridors, vintage rails and the whole entourage!

  6.  Tall ceilings under three meters, creaky parquet of the last century, a cup of tea on the table and the soothing sound of the evening the big city.  All this costs us a modest donation of $ 20 per day.

  7.

Eight.  Below, on the Boulevard is a shop-museum of Ukrainian vyshivanok and towels.

  9.  But Ukraine is not aware of embroidery and dolls, but rather because of the Chernobyl tragedy.  It is only Gollivudumeet show the world the truth and still manage to earn a good while.

  10.  The food in this city is also not cheap: for a small cup of soup at a diner I pay $ 7.

  11.  The so-called khalyavnykh food sold by Arabs everywhere from such trolley so that spoil the whole tourist view of the world's financial capital.  Even the price of five dollars for a full meal does not appeal to me: Health is more expensive.

  12.  The issue with parking New Yorkers decide this way.

  13.  And, of course, on the streets of metropolis you can find the most diverse folk.

  14.  And nonhumans.

  15.

  16.  Everyone knows that Americans are masters of selling anything that moves and does not move.  Here you can buy everything.  Even 15 seconds of fame on the big screen of Times Square, would be money.

  17.  "Jesus Christ - superzveda" yes.

  18.  From the homeless can not escape even in the world financial center.

  19.

  20.  The city never sleeps, but sometimes it is on strike.

  21.

  22.

  23.  52-year-old Asian Hmong Chen holds this laundromat in New York for 15 year.  For washing clothes in a large washing machine it takes $ 3.50, and for drying - $ 3.00, respectively.  Few residents of the city can afford a washing machine in his own apartment here and have to wear underwear across the road.

  24.

  25.  Look something like this, even the most expensive streets of New York at night.

  26.  In the subway in New York get those who are not listened to his mother in childhood.

  27.  "Do not you ashamed to shoot people lying on the pavement?" - Asked me a New York cop.

  28.  "It's a shame to squander public money on drugs ochumevshih Negro" - I thought to myself, and hurried away from sin.

  29.  "America will lose it excessive liberalism" - a famous American once said to Prophet David Wilkerson, and here I fully agree with him.

  30.  Wide-open eyes, empty eyes, the saliva from the mouth and tongue to the dirty subway floor - a familiar sight on the third floor under the sabveya Queens, Bronx and Brooklyn.  Even during the day the white man to look into these areas do not recommend the old-timers: can cut just for the color of the skin.

  31.  In the dream, and the only sober because adequate vagabond-traveler, hitchhiking gets to the shrines shaulinya, somehow I believe, down in a glass of one dollar.

  32.  Single ticket is worth $ 2.5.  Better to buy a travel for $ 40 a week and move freely around the city.  CAUTION beginners: never buy a "coupon" tickets in black with sunglasses - it is illegal, and our own peril.

  33.  Although the "city never sleeps," in every area - its own rules.

  34.

  35.  Three blocks from Times Square Mad tenants, finally returning to natural sources of heat and energy.

  36.  And finally, some photos of the famous magazine "All Saints".

  37.

  38.  You can in fact make the process of buying clothes fun, enjoyable and interesting!

  39.

  40.

  41.  The prices for quality clothing here, incidentally, is significantly lower in Moscow.

  42.  About snickering Muscovy will have a separate post, keep an eye on the site.

  43.  In New York, local Ukrainians-yourselfers tempted me to stay another couple of days, providing the so-called  off mode ticket to the Airport.  After some hesitation, I took the ticket and ..  went out on time.  I had to go back to the city, and all my plans have been violated, and left an extra hundred dinars (exit-entrance into the city from JFK - $ 10 Food - 40 Subway - a further $ 10 Hostel - $ 20 luggage - esche 20).  Total, in order to survive in this American Babylon takes a month for about 3 thousand dollars.
