PlotMary Lennox (Kate Maberly) is the neglected child of a wealthy English couple living in India during the early 20th century. Her mother and father never wanted her and only care about themselves. One night during one of their frequent parties, Mary can be seen hiding in her mother's bedroom under a dresser, as her mother unexpectedly returned. Her father follows her mother, and her mother claims that she left her fan behind, whereupon Mary really sees how much they care about one another. Continuing in her narrative, she tells us that her parents always think of themselves, never about her, and that, if only she'd known that in a few minutes she'd lose them forever. Ultimately, an earthquake occurs and both of Mary’s parents are killed in the destruction.
Mary Lennox is a "disagreeable-looking" 10-year-old girl who was born in India to selfish wealthy British parents who had not wanted her and were too wrapped up in their own lives. She was taken care of primarily by servants, who pacified her as much as possible to keep her out of the way. Spoilt and with a temper, she is unaffectionate, angry, rude and obstinate. Later, there is a cholera epidemic which hits India and kills her mother, father and all the servants. She is discovered alone but alive after the house is empty. She briefly lives with an English clergyman and his family and is then sent to Yorkshire, England to live with her uncle Archibald Craven at his home called Misselthwaite Manor.

ade mix flavour...sbb mary kan dibesarkan di india..
so ade culture india..ade rajah..mcm2 lagi la..dgn cuaca panasnya..
and then lepas mak pak die pass away..
die travel ke england pulak..dgn life style org kaya raya hidup dulu2...
ade maid2..rumah besar mcm mansion..mcm celebrity hollywoodnye rumah..bilik2 x terkira byknye..
walaupun kisah hidup mary & cousin die sgt lonely & miserable..
jalan cerita plot..langsung x bosan..sgt indah, menarik, adventurous...page turner la..org kata..
sebenarnye..mary diabaikan parents die..
sbb parents die mmg dari awal..x nak anak..especially mak die yg sgt2 lawa...
so sejak mary dilahirkan..mmg die org x khabarkan pd org lain..seolah2 mak pak mary ni ...mmg xde anak...so sad...
yg jaga die.."ayah" die..servent2..die..org india la semua nye..mak pak sendiri x pernah sentuh die..
tp ape die nak semua die dapat..cume kasih sayang..mak pak/family die x dapat...

layan citer ni time kanak2.... mmg aku suka cerita ni dan cerita ni mmg sentiasa aku igt... dlm thn 2008 ke cam tu aku cari novel dia... x jmpa so aku print ebook dia... then last 2 years or last 3 year ago aku jumpa novel dia kat Kino... so aku beli.... tp aku mmg suka citer ni... lagi2 psl secret garden tu...

Plot simple..tp menarik + mghiburkan..
Bayangkan life budak2 dua org ni t'perap dlm mansion, tanpa k'bebasan, kasih sayang p'hatian dari family & kawan2..mcm org lain, and yet penulis b'jaya mghasilkn buku cerita yg fasinating
