Pre-sectarian Buddhist practice is called the Right Practice, which means to see, think, understand, act, and reflect in our everyday life as if the Buddha would do. In other words, the Right Practice is to continue wise and spiritual actions to the end of your life.

According to the Buddha, if you have the right intention, you will have the right result (The Dependent Origination). The Right Practice will allow you to not only have the right intention but also maintain the right intention to the end. If you have powerful determination and confidence in attainment of the final salvation (The right intention) in everyday life and will continue the Right Practice to the end of your life, the final salvation (The right result) will be "naturally" guaranteed.

In addition, as the Right Practice will make you wiser and more spiritual, your actions will immediately improve your spirituality and happiness in everyday life. Such improvement will make other persons more spiritual and happier. This is the chain of wisdom and happiness (mercy) of the Buddha.

The Right Practice respects the three important teachings of pre-sectarian Buddhism. The Middle Way is the right approach to maintain the right intention and position to start the Right Practice. The Four Noble Truths is the right ways of thinking to maintain correctness of the Right Practice. The Noble Eightfold Path is the guideline of the Right Practice. In addition to the three teachings, we learn and use the Hear Sutra as it has the Buddha's wisdom of nirvana.
