saya pernah kene batu hempedu ni...pastu dah operation buang hempedu...
doktor kata buat cam biasa...takde kurang apa2
nak tanya ttg pantang-larang bagi sesiapa yg kena penyakit ni...
maksudnya...makanan apa yg boleh dimakan & patut dielakkan..

Silymarin, iaitu bahan aktif dalam Milk Thistle boleh membantu mencegah atau merawat masalah batu hempedu. Silymarin menggalakkan aliran hempedu dan membantu menguatkan pundi hempedu dan hati.
Dalam satu kajian yang telah dijalankan, didapati bahawa silymarin dapat mengurangkan kolesterol dalam hempedu di mana ia adalah salah satu langkah yang penting untuk mengelakkan pembentukan batu hempedu. 600mg ekstrak Milk Thistle (dipiawaikan kepada 70-80 peratus silymarin) adalah disarankan. Kombinasi Milk Thistle dan Dandelion memberi kesan yang lebih baik dalam perlindungan dan pengekalan kesihatan pundi hempedu.
Suplemen lain yang boleh membantu ialah lesitin. Lesitin membantu menjadikan kolesterol lebih larut lalu mengurangkan masalah batu hempedu.
Vitamin C juga diperlukan untuk penukaran kolesterol kepada garam hempedu. Individu yang berisiko tinggi untuk menghidapi masalah batu hempedu biasanya mempunyai paras asid askorbik (vitamin C) yang rendah. Oleh itu, pengambilan makanan yang kaya dengan vitamin C seperti buah-buahan tempatan adalah penting.
Faktor diet dan gaya hidup untuk pundi hempedu yang sihat
Diet yang rendah lemak membantu mencegah masalah batu hempedu, mengurangkan kesakitan dan keradangan (inflamasi) yang berkait dengan batu hempedu.
Kurangkan pengambilan kopi. Kopi boleh mencetuskan kesakitan pundi hempedu pada sesetengah individu.
Minum 6-8 gelas air setiap hari untuk mengekalkan kandungan air dalam hempedu supaya hempedu tidak menjadi terlalu pekat.
Meningkatkan pengambilan serat untuk mencegah pembentukan batu hempedu
Oleh sebab orang yang obes lebih cenderung untuk menghidapi masalah batu hempedu, pengambilan diet yang seimbang, bersenam dan memelihara berat badan yang sihat adalah penting dalam membantu mencegah pembentukan batu hempedu. |

...heh...im one of those many yang dah tak de gallbladder lagik...got 4 big stones and had them removed...that was in 2002...sakit dia...adoi!!!...duduk salah...berdiri salah...baring pon salah...bisa wooooo!!!...

....yeap...mine was done laparoscopically....just three punctured holes...went into theatre at about 2300hrs...back to ward at 4am...6am i dah bley got up and ambulate to the bathroom by myself...heh...pain was minimal...went home on my 2nd post op day...mc 1 month plus!!!...

Hi Blackmore,
emak saya ada penyakit ini dah dkt 10 tahun (sampai sekarang) dia tak nak pergi operation (puas dah pujuk) .. ada tak keburukkan kalau tak buat operation tu ... Untuk hilangkan sakit dia cuma ambil ubat dari sebuah klinik.

aku pernah buat operation ni tahun 2000, dgn kaedah laparoskopi, sejak tu tak pernah sakit lagi dan takde pantang larang apa-apa pun.. |

...if the stone lodges in the common duct, gallstones may be complicated by cholangitis (inflammation of the bile ducts) and pancreatitis...some pple with acute cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder) may develop complications that are life threatening and which requires immediate surgery...besides the above 2 complications that i mentioned...other complications include...empyema, sepsis, gangrene, and perforation...:kant:
...so D**...if your mum's gallstones don't cause pain or other symptoms, treatment is usually not needed....biarkan jer lah orang tua tu...but...do bring her to see dr if she complaints of the following...

...pain in the upper midsection or upper right abdomen, along with a yellow tint to her skin and the white part of her eyes, dark yellow-brown urine, or light-colored stools...

wahh..bestnya ada member2 yg boleh berkongsi pengalaman kat sini.gall stone nih..ya allah sakitnya!!aku hari tuh buat ERCP,buang yg terstuck kat dlm saluran tuh.pegi check kat spital terus kena tahan kat dr,sebab dah ada tanda2 jaundice masa tuh.then,dr nasihatkan suruh buat operate remove kan hempedu tuh.tp aku ingat nak blk buat kat mesia.boleh sesiapa bgtau berapa kos nak buat benda nih?mahal tak? |

..ps...besides gallstones...pancreatitis is also caused by alcohol abuse (drinking too much of alcohol)...

rasanya kita kena analyse kot adakah rasa takut tu berbaloi bila dibandingkan dgn komplikasi dari sakit itu + pembedahan itu atau sebagainya ..sakit operate
apa sebenranya korang takut , ek? bila sebut operation ni...sbb interesting jugak nak tahu= kalau ada org kongsi pengalaman atau korang sendiri cari maklumat = adakah ini lebih menakutkan atau ? bagaimana...
ini sama juga bila berbincang dengan kawan perempuan saya tentang episiotomy - takut itu atau inilah tetapi kesan tak having that " cut" lagi terukkkkk.....so ntah i sometimes pelik ..but i think it is a matter of exposure...i think the more you gain some info, it does help / akan lebih membantu anda memahamai dan lebih bersedia...
tapi inilah juga nak kongsi pengalaman
my LATE granpa ( bless him) - was diagnose as having a terminal stage prostate CA
and until the last breath my mom and the rest of my relatives tak pernah bagi tau dier sbb takut lah org tua tua kan sering dowm and feeling low but he did realise after some time a few months before he passed away that " sakit aku nih teruk sbb tak baik baik lagi nih" that;s was the last few unterrances that he made before he passed away on the 4th Ramadhan 1405 H
then i was told about the diagnosis on Sept 2001 and i just sat on a chair and said INnalillah and feeling really numb..but..
tulah is it good to know or NOT to know or wanted to know - as needed to kNOW BASIS?

lepas tengok my mom kena stroke disebabkan operate mata, i pun
jadi fobia nak operate batu hempedu ni. both of us ada diabetes,
tapi i masih baru lagi.
kalau boleh, memang tak nak operate. tapi kalau takde cara
lain...........apalah daya. kena masuk bilik bedah juga la nampaknya. |

i dulu amik gall stone tu pakai ERCP.3 hari before buat ERCP tak leh mkn dan minum kecuali minum air kosong.pastu buat ERCP,tak sakit langsung.yg i ingat masuk tempat buat ERCP tu..then sedar2 dah settle semua.cuma lepas buat tu pon dia tak bagi mkn gak dlm 3 hari camtu.ERCP bukan cam operate pon.just masukkan camera yg ada pisau(betul ke ni?),then dia dia buat camana ntah..yg pasti dia boleh keluarkan batu tu ikut mulut kita jerk.so there's nothing to be worried ok |
