yang boleh beritahu --- apa novel dia yang u suka..
dan adakah you baca buku2 crichton...

one of the best authors...

buku dia -- JURASSIC PARK -- jadi the #1 BOX OFFICE MOVIE
IN HISTORY -- kalahkan star wars and jaws --


so -- buku crichton yang mana lagi u all baca ??

Jurassic Park is very excellent!
Even though the movie is a hit, the book is way much different than the movie, jalan cerita lebih mendebarkan. I read it after watching the movie, his concept is good, on how to resurrect back the dinasours using DNA found in nyamuk

Buku Crichton banyak pasal medical investigation.. selain dari cerita pre historic..

other books yg dah baca ... 'State of Fear' ..rasanya ni kira yg latest books dia kot.

buku yg dah jadi movie..semua tak baca lagi, rasa2nya nak baca Terminal Man lah lepas ni sebab tgk movie dia kelakar habis

kalo bukan novel bleh? buku aku paling favourite is Eaters of The Dead ... psl sejarah viking ... buku ni la buku non-fiction yg aku x jemu baca berulang kali ... hehehe

I've read ALL of his books. He's one of my favorite writers.

Yang tak de dlm collection Five Patients and Disclosure.

All in all, his writing is excellent in terms of the amount of research he did on each of his book. He also included references at the end.

To me the best books were his earlier ones, like Sphere, the Terminal Man and the Andromeda Strain. So that's why when Dan Brown came along I thought he might be another Crichton. And he did not disappoint me (dont know about others though).

Anyway, I always look forward to Crichton's new book to add to my collection.

Took me quite a long time to finish it bcoz i never quite that era...so dark and cold..

Satu lagi...Travels. It's more like a journal of his travels. Great read.

glad to see u listed all those books
i have them all and read them
few of them i read couple times
i have five patients - (yang ni intesting cuz
different stories about those 5 people)
i suka andromeda strain juga..

the latest so far is state of fear -
was not bad -- but i like timeline more --
as well as airframe --

i suka yang non fiction from him as well --
I LOVE EATERS of the dead very much..
glad we have same taste of books...

tengah tunggu his new novel ni...


btw - yeah!! dan brown -- read all his 4 books
lama dah  da vinci code tu in 2004 spring lagi --
what an awesome book, eh..

most of crichton's books are better than the film..
except for jurassic park - both are great
although - the storyline a bit different...

aku suka sgt Eaters of the Dead with the way he interpreted and translated ibn Fadhlan punya journals tu ... summore aku minat sejarah vikings ... aku tgk 13th warrior dulu sblm baca buku ni ... aku pnh baca gak jurassic park ..tp x baper minat ... hehehe .

I was a bit disappointed dgn Jurassic Park (movie) punya ending sbb lain dari buku.

13th warrior tak penah tgk lagi. But i'm sure the book is better. Mcm timeline.

Most of the time i watch the movie sbb nak tgk sama ada gambaran aku sama ke tak dgn yg digarapkan dlm movie. Tapi most of the time jugak, jalan cerita ada sikit (kdg2 byk!) lari dari buku.

Salam...

Buku Crichton pertama yg saya baca adalah 'Disclosure' (and I'm hooked to his novels since then). Ceritanya tentang sexual harrasment. Sexual harrassment yg biasa adalah lelaki harrass perempuan tp cerita ni the other way round. Yang menariknya, skop cerita selama beberapa tahun tp diceritakan menerusi peristiwa-peristiwa yg berlaku di dalam beberapa hari - kalau tak silap 5 hari kot.

Masih ingat petikan dlm novel ni: Harrassment is about power.

Buku ni jugak jadi inspirasi utk saya menulis novel yg ada ala2 thriller and love bertajuk "Menyingkap Ilusi". Aspek yg sama: skop beberapa thn, diceritakan menerusi peristiwa 12 hari.
